This area of the body quite commonly gains fat during puberty, The sure-fire way to lose weight is a simple guessing game - more out than in. Look at getting a calory counter.
In terms of excersize, the most weight will be lost in cardio work; that is everyday activities such as running, swimming, biking and the such. I recommend a fifteen year old moving at around 115 RPM if you are reasonably fit. Around twenty minutes twice a day will shift that weight quickly. Try your best to stay away from weighted workouts. You don't want to gain additional weight/ muscle on your chest nor your stomach as, at least in the short term, it will make you look more weighty. Just stick to cardio.
If you want to just shift the weight, pilates and yoga may be more worthwhile.
I would recommend swimming, calory control and very little in the way of weights, whether they be free weights or machine weights. If there is a swimming pool near where you live, see if you can organize becoming part of a squad that swims early morning before you go to school.

Well the two types of exercises that have shown to maximize fat burning are:
A: Moderate to High intensity Weight-lifting
B: High Intensity Interval Training cardio
For the weightlifting, what you are describing will only do so much for you. Your body grows accustomed to the same type of exercises (especially bodyweight ones). If possible I would recommend a gym membership or utilizing your school's facility if possible.
For the Cardio, HIIT is a routine involving a short period of high intensity cardio followed by a slightly longer rest/low period. Try, on your treadmill, sprinting for one-minute and then walking/jogging for one-two minutes, based on your fitness level. Repeat. Start out slow, as in doing 4-5 cycles and then eventually bump it up to 10+. Research shows that despite low-moderate intensity cardio burning more calories WHILE exercising, the high-intensity burns not only more fat stores, but increases your metabolism far longer and higher following the workout. Some studies have found that utilizing both weightlifting and high-intensity cardio increases metabolic rates for 48 hours.
create emergency packs filled with healthy foods such as nuts fruits or sliced vegetables to help you avoid unhealthy temptations
Unfortunately, there is no way that a human being can "spot reduce" weight. You just have to watch what you eat and continue to exercise.
yup, men gain weight in the gut and upper body.
