Question: I had some English homework and I was wondering if I did each one of them right. Here is my revised sentences. 1. The elderly man was a grandfather to seven youngsters, and he never failed to spend time with them each and every weekend. 2. Organic food is currently the rage in American society. Stringent laws regarding the exact definition of organic; however, does not exist. 3. Students face academic challenges while taking distance education classes. One of the most common challenges is learning how to budget personal time. 4. One of the advantages of face-to-face college classes is that students can interact with one another, and the professor can interact with the students. 5. A good argumentative paper provides the reader with several reliable and credible sources. Wikipedia is not considered to be a reliable or credible. I'm having a hard time with #3 since I'm not real sure if "however, does not exist." is a main clause.

1)Fine 2)Stringent laws regarding the exact defintion of organic, however, DO not exist "However, does not exist" is not a complete sentence, so you can't use a semicolon. And it's "DO" because laws do not exist. 3)fine 4) One of the advantages of face-to-face college classes is that students can interact with one another and the professor can interact with the students. No comma because it's still part of the one advantage. Collectively, the one advantage is "students can interact with one another and the professor can interact with the students." So the underlying structure of the sentence is... One advantage is this. 5) "to be reliable or credible." Otherwise fine
