1) Drink nothing but water until then,
2) Try to cut your carbohydrates as much as possible. Look at the nutrition label... see the carbs part? Under that it shows the fiber, now, subtract the fiber number from the number of carbs. That is how many carbs are going to be stored in your belly/hips/butt. Eat the majority of your carbs early, for breakfast and try to cut them out as much as possible throughout the day.
3) Walking or some other type of aerobic activity 2-3 times a week would help too - just be sure you're actually getting your heart rate up

1. Drink lots of water. Staying hydrated actually speeds weight loss and also suppresses your appetite. You can also add lemon to water for flavoring, but don't substitute juices (high in calories!), colas and other sugary drinks in place of water.
2.Find healthy snacks. If you need to snack in between meals, choose healthy, low-calorie options like a banana or yogurt.
3.Avoid eating anything before you go to bed. Your body burns calories more slowly in the evening. Try to stop eating a few hours before bedtime.
4.Run. Start at your own pace but try to keep jogging every other day for at least 20-30 minutes. TBC...
Fat and calories is the culprit, therefore, getting rid of it must start from the root cause. Cutting calorie and fat intake and work out.

If you want to lose weight, you have to stop being picky about what foods you eat. No pain, no gain right? :)
To start off though, start drinking lots of water. And I mean a LOT of water. I shed off about 15 pounds just from drinking about 4 smart bottles worth of water a day. You will notice a difference after about two weeks especially in the tummy area. Another good tip is to get enough sleep. Yes, sleeping helps you reduce stress which in turn helps you lose weight. Do not skip breakfast. Make sure your breakfast contains lots of carbs and protein so you get the energy you need for the day and cut down on your lunch and dinner.
Cut off junk food and soda. And you don't need exercise equipment or a gym membership to lose weight. Just spend 30 minutes to an hour taking a walk or a jog in the neighborhood or nearby park. I also lost about 20 pounds just from walking home everyday from school about 3 miles (45 minutes?) for a few months.
But no matter what you do, do not starve yourself. That's the worst you can do to your body when it comes to weight loss.
These are all great places to start! You can do it Jenna!
