A faster metabolism can enable your body to efficiently handle more calories—instead of excreted excess calories as waste or, even worse, store them as body fat. The more food (especially high-quality protein) that your body can efficiently metabolized, the more muscle you can build over time. It does not make you grow taller, or build muscle faster--as you've asked though. When you are exchanging classes, have like a bar in your locker, and take a bite. Gaining muscle helps speed up metabolism. Drinking a lot of water is good too.

Adding New Muscle to Increase Metabolism: It has been proven time and time again that properly performed high intensity strength training stimulates the development of muscle mass which in turn will alter metabolism in two different ways. First, resting metabolic rate is increased when one gains muscle mass. While the energy expenditure per pound of lean body mass does not change, the addition of more muscle mass means higher energy expenditure or increased metabolism at rest. Second, the more muscle mass an individual has the greater the post exercise oxygen consumption. When strength trained individuals were compared to non-trained individuals, there was no difference in post exercise oxygen consumption per pound of muscle. However, since the strength training individuals have more muscle mass, they burn more calories during the post exercise period.

it can't help you get taller . neither can it help you build muscles faster. but it can help you burn fat faster. the only benefits of having a fast metabolism is you burn more calories a day while doin nothing, you have a hard time gaining weight.

More frequent meals is NOT going to speed up your metabolism. I'm sorry. Exercise more, and build muscle. Muscle is active and burns more calories than fat will... because fat does nothing but sit on your body. Exercise by itself will promote a faster metabolism and you'll feel better. Caffeine may or may not increase your metabolism. The amount that it does is very minimal though. If you're sensitive to caffeine, I wouldn't recommend it.
