Question: ive been on it before and it was horrible. 10mg by the way. but i started them again about 2 weeks ago but instead of 10mg i cut them in half and take it on a full stomache during the day. when i do that i have no trouble at all. so im just curious as to why if i take it at night on a full stomache do i wake up with my heart racing, cant breath and throwing up???

A side effect like this you can live without. You could try a natural herbal remedy called Valerian which is available over the counter from a Herbalist shop. Best wishes & I hope you feel better soon. UK

here I had a similar problem. It sucks. First I would try to break your dependency on your dad waking you up, if he doesn't wake you up you'll start getting up, so just go a few days and miss your alarm, when you know there's no backup alarm (i.e. Dad) then you'll know you have no choice but get up. OTHERWISE you can do what I did, which is way more fun, and get the alarm clock that runs away from you!! Haha, it's a pain in the ***, but it wakes me up heres a video of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0WQM7e4LWw

What is the most important information I should know about escitalopram? You should not use this medicine if you also take pimozide, or if you are being treated with methylene blue injection. Do not use escitalopram if you have taken an MAO inhibitor in the past 14 days. A dangerous drug interaction could occur. MAO inhibitors include isocarboxazid, linezolid, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline, and tranylcypromine. Some young people have thoughts about suicide when first taking an antidepressant. Your doctor will need to check your progress at regular visits while you are using vilazodone. Your family or other caregivers should also be alert to changes in your mood or symptoms. Do not give this medicine to anyone under 12 years. Visit This Top Store : http://lexapro2.w3org.pw/q1rqr

Just a side effect some people get. I had that same thing. I have anxiety and had to take it for anxiety, so that just did not help one bit. Paxil does the same thing to me. You nee dto tell your doctor you want to try something else w/ less side effects. They usually will try you on different things until they find one that is right for you and that you can handle. (by you, I mean any person). Good Luck.

I have that side effect with paxil. I am sorry you are having this. I would contact your doctor and tell them what is going on.

Before going to sleep make sure all electrical like TV, mobile phone, computer, including a dig clock & nightlights etc...are turned off completely. These past 2 months I've been sleeping in total darkness and that has helped BIG time.(I put dark shades on my windows) or you can use an eye mask. It will make a big difference. 1-2 hours before sleep I make valerian, lavander, and chamomile tea (I buy from healthfood store so they are pesticide free). No caffeine beverages or coffee after 1 p.m. You can also find a good quality vitamin called melatonin that aids in sleep. (buy at the healthfood store as well).
