Gaining weight is similar to losing weight, just the opposite way. 3500 calories is 1 pound so if you wanted to gain 1 pound a week, you could do this by adding 3500 calories to your week. This equates to 500 calories a day. So if you are eating 1800 calories now, up it to 2300 calories a day. However, DO NOT fill up those calories with junk food, instead consider eating 2 bananas a day (at 100 calories each) for snacks, toss some cheese into your dinner meal, eat an avocado for lunch with your regular food, etc. You can gain weight but doing it by eating chocolate and chips is NOT healthy. also, talk with your general practitioner and make sure they approve your new diet. Also remember that any exercise you do during the week burns off the calories (but don't quit exercising!) So basically: add GOOD calories to your diet (fruits, nuts, dairy, whole grains) so that you add another 3500 calories a week and you will gain weight. You can use a website like the one below to track your meals for a week or two so you get an idea of what you are taking in and giving out. Good luck. (ps, just so you know, a healthy weight for your height is about 61 kg, +/- 10%)

If you want to put on weight, you should work out, to insure that you put on muscle and not fat. Healthy weight gain, just like healthy weight loss, takes time and requires a conscious effort to apply good habits. Recommended Ways to Gain Weight Have meals with the right balance of proteins, carbohydrates, and the right kinds of fat (such as unsaturated and monounsaturated fats, olive oil, canola oil, pistachios, almonds and walnuts). Heinemann suggests the following ratio: 60%-70% carbohydrates, 10%-15% protein, and a small amount of fat. Eat foods higher in calories, vitamins, and minerals, as opposed to higher in fat or sugar. Pack more nutritious calories in each serving. For example, you may add grated cooked eggs to mashed potatoes, ground chicken to soups and gravies, cheese in casseroles, eggs, and soups, and nonfat dried milk in soups, shakes, milk, and mashed potatoes. If you get too full too fast, try having more high-calorie foods or slices of foods as opposed to consuming the whole thing (raisins versus grapes, granola and Grape Nuts versus corn flakes, mango slices versus the whole mango). Limit drinking beverages to a half-hour before and after a meal. Drink mixed juices (apple/berry, peach/orange/banana as opposed to one juice beverages) for a higher calorie intake. With moderation, you may add in good fat sources to meals such as nuts, avocado, olives, and fatty fish (salmon and mackerel). Snack in between meals. Nuts, dried fruits, and yogurt are good options, but it's also important to find nutritious foods that you will enjoy. Have a nutritious snack before bedtime, such as a peanut butter sandwich.

Not sure where you live but in the U. S. there are these canned milkshakes called Ensure that you could supplement between meals to add some calories to your diet.

To gain weight you have to eat more calories than you burn. When adding calories, try to stay away from adding too much fat. While you can get fat from eating carbohydrates or protein, your body likes to use carbohydrates as fuel more than fat. To gain muscle, in addition to eating more you have to stimulate your muscles enough through resistance training that while they recover, they'll get bigger and stronger. To get an efficient workout you might want to join a gym if you aren't already a member. Please see your doctor. You may have a hereditary health condition that is being undiagnosed. Even if it's not the case, only your doctor can tell you how to go about this healthily.

Eat MORE. You might have a high metabolism. You should eat a truck load, never go hungry, eat a bit more than you would normally, not too much, but just a bit more, and possibly lift weight in addition to yoga. On the days you don't do yoga, I would do some basic lifts like squats, dead lift, chest press, etc.
