my friend who was overweight now skips a lot of meals and he's actually lost a lot of weight.. so how come my trainer told me never skip meals cuz the body tends to store fat?

Listen to your trainer. Skipping meals can slow down your metabolism, and if you skip enough meals that you go into starvation mode, your body will begin to cannibalize muscle and conserve fat. You may lose weight, but you'll have a high percentage of body fat -- not exactly what you want for fitness and health.
Your friend is losing muscle weight, glycogen (which the body uses for energy), and water (which attaches itself to the glycogen). As soon as he begins eating normally, the weight will come right back -- plus a few pounds, because his body will prepare itself for the next famine.

Nope. Basically, you can't ever be immune to any kind of STD's. And most of them, once you get them, they'll never go away.
Eventually they'll kill you.
Though, doctors ARE trying to find a cure for them.
I'm sure, far into the future, there will be a cure.
But until then, I'd watch what your doing with certain people.

Weight isn't the problem, body fat is. The body actually tends to store fat as an energy source when you skip meals. Try eating 4-5 small, healthy meals throughout the day. This method has actually been proven to cause the body to increase it's metabolism, causing fat burning effects.

Your trainer is wrong. If you don't eat, you lose weight. The problem with not eating is that if you do it for too long your body will get rid of both fat and muscle. The amount of muscle you have is a big factor in what your metabolism is like, and if you lose muscle you're slowing down your metabolism. So if you starve yourself then go back to eating normally, you've slowed down your metabolism and the end result will be putting on weight.

NO! Your body BURNS fat when you skip meals! So,chances are you misunderstood him,or he doesn't know what he is talking about,or he wants as much of YOUR $$$ as he can get! 1st,when you don't eat WHEN you are hungry,your body NEEDS IT! 2nd,by not eating your body goes to it's "reserves"-a.k.a. fat. IF there is not enough fat,the body FEEDS off of the muscles. This coincides with fatigue,weakness,cramps,shakes. When this happens-GET FOOD A.S.A.P.!-with high potassium:milk,orange juice,banana's are excellent quick fixes-about 20 minutes minimum. Hope this helps!

while you skip meals you will lose weight
but as soon as you start eating normal it will store all you eat as fat
also, if you skip meals for too long, your body will become accustomed to it and stop burning fat [ metabolism will lower ]
your body sometimes starts eating at your muscles when it's starving

Try going for walks plenty and doing plenty of aerobic and consuming a more healthy vitamin. To support with th stomach fats, you'll be able to check out doing crunches, take a seat-ups, or planks. If you do not know what a plank is, it is whilst you preserve your self up stomach going through down along with your forearms and feet. Good good fortune!
