Question: frnds pls tell me that how much it is fair to kill an animal or get it killed by others just because of our taste, even when we have so many other things to eat. i m talking about non veg. it is animal which eats other animal for it's appetite. i am not suggesting others not to eat animals. i am just saying that we should have little bit pity on animals. we should not eat them when it is not necessary means just because of our taste. there r so many people existing in this world who dont take animals and are much more healthier than those who take.

Why don't you think it is fair we get to kill animals? Is it fair for the more athletic person to win the race? Is it fair hurricanes and natural disasters kill humans? Humans have advantage over other animals, so we can do whatever we want to them. If you have any moral qualms with that you can refrain from doing so. You can't make others to act like you, though. They want to, they can, therefore they do.

It is cruel. The fair people make you pay like, what, a quarter? for one of those goldfish and then shove it in a plastic bag for you to carry around while you still enjoy the fair! Most parents let their kid do it because they think, "Oh, it's just a goldfish, let's get a cup and see how long it lasts!" and let their kid get a pet for little to nothing. Most people who get fish from fairs don't know how to care for them and end up putting them in bowls or unfiltered aquariums and watch them die week after week. That's where people get their mindset that goldfish only last a couple of weeks, when in fact they can live up to 20 years when cared for properly! It should be banned. Living animals are not prizes!

It's no real life - a one way ticket for the fish... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrD2rJkL0... Seems to me any local aquarium stockists could enter into an arrangement so even the 'travelling' fair could collect the stock it needs for the present site, in tanks that are approved and that are used until the fish is won [instead of hanging on display in bags]. Additionally with the token system enabling you to collect your fish after going on any other rides/games - once you're heading home..., or - you can redeem the token at the local aquarium stockist - which if you won a fish last year & do not want another, means you could win something for the tank, some fish food, etc. and take your vouchers along to a store that is overseen & oversees animal welfare as part of a regulatory body ensuring the system works... The fair then has just fish in approved confinement with other 'general' [or non-live/perishable] prizes, e.g. http://www.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&q=p... And the carrier would just need a sticker saying something like, transfer to tank in under 24 hours'. http://www.lostateminor.com/2010/02/04/p... So, your emotions are well-founded, as this can be done with minimal effort in light of all the other animal welfare issues & efforts, it's not a £1000 a time veterinary bill - and it's not new technology or even innovation, nor magic - just a proper regard for a life hanging in the balance...

We're omnivores, we can't be healthy eating just vegetables. In order to eat meat, we have to kill something. It's not "just because of our taste", it's just because of the nutrients that our body needs that can't be gotten from plants.

meat is good for your body. Plenty of organisms kill other organisms for food, its called a food chain and we're usually at the top.
