Question: I need some tips on losing weight by memorial weekend I'm at 155 right now and wanting to lose 25 lbs in two months I need help and tips

This is not a realistic goal. You should not try to lose more than 1 pound a week, 2 at most. So anything over 9 to 18 pounds is unrealistic. You see,in order to lose that much weight by Memorial weekend, you would have to reduce your caloric intake by 1400 calories per day. I have no idea what you "maintenance calories" level is, but it is probably somewhere around 2200 to 2400 calories per day to maintain your current weight. That means you would have to eat 800-1000 calories per day to lose that quickly. And when you eat less than 1400 calories a day, your body goes into starvation mode. Your metabolism slows right down to conserve calories, you body burns muscle instead of fat, and with the loss of muscle you become faint and weak. And you may stop losing weight after losing only 5 pounds. And as soon as you eat even just a little bit more than usual, your starvation-mode body snatches it up and stores it as fat. So you end up not only gaining back everything you lost, but more on top of it. Cut your calories back to 1600 a day, eat smaller but frequent meals (5 a day), with some protein at each meal to fight off hunger, and make sure that the only stuff you eat is nutritious. One day a week, eat 2200 calories ... this fools your body into thinking it is not in a famine, so your metabolism won't slow down so much. You won't lose your 25 pounds, but you'll lost more than if you TRIED to lose 25 pounds.

Only leave food out for her morning and night, and put the food away during the day. Don't worry if she misses her opportunity once at first, or even doesn't eat for a day or so. If you do it consistenly, she will learn when you put the food out and come to eat then. A food schedule will make her lose all the weight that she needs to.
