Topic: I'd like to hear from people who eat only two meals a day. what do you eat and how is your health?

For example: you eat meals at 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. and don't snack. Does this help you stay slender and healthy? I heard that a 17 to 18 hour fast in a 24 hour period has amazing health benefits.

I very rarely eat three times a day; usually I eat twice a day, although I've been known to eat only once a day at times. It's not really a choice for me, I just never could stomach breakfast. It gets me sick to eat the things that are promoted as breakfast items. So if I take anything at all, it's more than likely an 8-oz. glass of juice or something light like that. I also drink a lot of water (I aim for 64 ounces a day, but sometimes I don't get it all in). Food is essential, but water is even more crucial for your health; it prevents you from becoming dehydrated, and going without water for any period of time will start to mess with your kidneys and make other health problems for you. Once your kidneys start to fail, it's hard coming back from that.
For me, I used to drink hardly nothing but soft drinks. And even though I didn't over-eat, I found that the sodas were what added the most calories; my teacher called them something like "empty calories", I think. When I laid off of the sodas, and drank nothing but water (with an occasional 8-oz. carbonated drink on the side), I was better off as far as maintaining my weight.
So, yeah ... eating twice a day helps me stay slender and healthy. I've heard that eating 5 small meals throughout the day is way better, but I always get sick and feel like I'm stuffing myself. Health-wise, it would probably be preferable to eat at least three times a day. But I don't have that luxury. Even now, I'm still feeling full from what I ate on yesterday afternoon and the water that I drank on yesterday.
no. skipping breakfast is not healthy. fasting is not healthy. three smaller meals a day is better than two larger ones. i never skip breakfast, and never will. you need that energy kick to start your day.
i dont eat breakfast or dinner, i eat tea and maybe have a sandwich at somepoint, i often feel lazy and tired and can't be arsed
