Well I'm 12 years old 4 feet tall and 11 inches tall and weigh 140 lbs. Not so great for a 12 year old! I really need to lose weight and I've tried, but it never seems to work. I'm really unhappy with my weight and that even has me thinking about taking diet pills. I have a healthy family and I eat pretty healthy too. I rarely eat/drink these foods: Soda, Candy, Fried Foods, etc.. I play soccer, but that's not starting for a while. I can stand eating healthy and stuff like that, but when I try to run or work out I get tired easily and it sucks! Haha!
Do you know any way I can lose weight fast and easy? I don't want to pay for anything that won't work or order anything over the internet.

Here's my story, see if it helps you.
I figured out a way to still eat a lot but lose weight. See, I love plant based things, especially soy. I've been eating tons of soy burgers (just the plain pattie, I don't bother to make an actual burger), fake soy chicken (morning star has it), fake soy chicken patties, tofu, tomato soup, peaches, bananas, blueberries, soy milk, V8 Splash and just all kinds of stuff like that. It cut down a lot on cheese, sugar and meat, things I think were making me fat.
Well the weight melted right off...
...with one problem...I'm starting to get bird legs and just overall look skinny but not muscular and toned! Eww! So I've been playing Dance Dance Revolution (fun game!) and doing strength building exercises I was taught in Tae Kwon Do. Like, for instance, I used to couldn't do push ups on my toes...if I tried to go all the way down I'd fall on my face...so I just went as far as I could (which wasn't far) and...the muscle came in fast! I only did the push ups a couple time over a period of like three weeks and now I can almost go down all the way, and I can do 10!
Also in Tae Kwon Do I learned exercises that don't take long at all but make me REALLY tired REALLY fast and really work my butt off. And you know the calories are going kaching kaching away. There's this one thing I do where somebody holds a kicking pad for me level with the ground about 4 feet in the air and I kick it with my right foot, then my left food, then my right, over and over as fast as I can until each foot has kicked it 20 times. You'll be panting so hard, lol.
And then there's another one I do that looks like marching in place except I pick my legs up way higher. I do that really fast and I'm feeling it IN NO TIME.
You know what else is awesome? Find something sturdy you can step up on...like a box or something. Something like a foot tall. Step up on it with one foot, then the other foot, then step back down. Do it as FAST AS YOU CAN for like 45 seconds. You'll be feeling that.
I think the most beneficial exercises are the ones that make you and/or your muscles tired very quickly. They seem to be all that have ever helped me.

ENOUGH OF THE AUSTRALIAN DIET! THIS IS THE 2ND TIME I'VE SEEN THE SAME SPEACH IN 3 MINUTES!
Forget the calorie counting, not neccessary. Here is what you need to be doing for your nutrition.
- Eat a high protein breaky within the hour of waking up
- Eat protein at every feeding
- Cut out bread, sugar, juice, artificial sweeteners, deli meat, and any other processed foods
- Do not eat within 3 hours of bed
- Eat a lot of good healthy fats (extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, almonds, walnuts, avocado)
- Eat a fruit and/or vegetable at every feeding
Squats, lunges, pushups, planks, dips on edge of chair, knee ups, supermans,
Do 30 reps of each in a circuit with a 2-3 minutes break between rounds. Do this for 30-60min. Go for a brisk walk as soon as you are done this. Remember, resistance training is more important than cardio for losing body fat.
Do not expect to be down to 110 in 2 months. In fact do not expect to be down to 110 at all. A good weight for you is truthfully around 130. It is about how you look, not how much you weigh. It is OK to be 130 lbs and look good! Do not stress about the weight.
At 13 what you need are guidelines, not a strict "diet". Follow the above and DO NOT listen to the people above please.

if you have a seperate room keep small useful exercise equipment use those equipment while reading and listening songs

beware of fat free or zero trans fats foods as you could be trading fats for huge amounts of sugar or sodium

take every opportunity to move around even in small ways studies show fidgety people tend to be skinnier

people who regularly weigh themselves and keep track of their progress in a journal are more likely to lose weight

leave all the heavy junk food.
take fat but in low quantity otherwise it will cause period problem.
avoid sweet thing.
ham burgers, pizzas, cold drinks colas, chocolate
if you eat two eggs reduce it to one like this walk for one hour walk fastly.
after 4 months you will be smart it will take time. be patient

soups can be both filling and comforting try making a garden or bean soup with low salt broth and store in portion sized cups for later

The goal is to lose fat, not just weight in general. If you are doing strength training during your weight loss (which you should be), you might actually see an initial gain in weight. If this is the case, don't worry! You have probably lost fat and gained muscle, which is denser than fat and is much healthier.
