Did God* create the first human life** with an immune system?
Topic: Did God* create the first human life** with an immune system?
July 21, 2019 / By Deemer Question:
It's pretty much a "yes" or "no" question, but elaborate if you must.
* "God" should be understood to mean "the Abrahamic, Judeo-Christian, Biblical deity Yahweh" for the purposes of this inquiry.
** The "first human life" should be understood to mean "Adam & Eve" for the purposes of this inquiry.

Unlike Phish, God wasn't Down With Disease.
OK, I'm listening to that song as I type these words, and I wanted badly to sound snarky and clever, but I failed.

I pondered this for years.
I ended up risking my health and trying methotrexate.
I went with this poison as opposed to Enbrel and similar poisons on a cost basis and because those "biologics" are just too new and not time-tested.
I am 99% clear of all psoriasis including PA.
It is SO NICE to not be shedding skin wherever I go, and not itching! Climbing stairs is an option again.
I didn't stop eating well nor did I take up smoking. In fact, because I eat healthy and mind my habits I've survived methotrexate quite well.
Yes and for the first few months they had to get vaccines and a shot twice a year for meningitis. They were quite ill, regardless.
Why did He put into Adam and Eve a recessive gene for diabetes or was it the apple that gave Adam and Eve their genetic make-up?
I just can't grasp the concept of original sin, unless it is in fact, non-sense.

Yes. God knew man would fall into sin and subject himself to the curse so God created man with an immune system.
When man fell he became subject to the curse. So now we get sick, grow old, and die.
Edit: When all things are made new there will be no more curse.
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Rev 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

Since sin is caused by "the fall", I would have to assume that he created the immune system only after Adam and Eve sinned. In which case, he intelligently redesigned us. He made a human 2.0 with an antivirus.
Or, he knew they would sin all along and created an immune system.
Still not clear on how matter was broken down into smaller pieces before the fall. Maybe bacteria were around, but just you know, nice. Nice bacteria, nice.

He created us with the ability to adapt. Such is the case when Native Americans were exterminated by diseases such as small pox and even venereal diseases, while the Europeans had already adapted to such diseases and had the antibodies required to fight them.
