Question: I'm looking for a diet I can go on for a week or so that will work. I don't want to hear the "Fad diets are bad!" or anything. I want it to include good foods, nothing crazy. What's worked for you?

go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or to buy special meals or plans.

Well, all the low calorie diets fail, because of yo- yo. But you can try this, it worked for many people: First day: eat only fruits and veggies. Dont starve, but dont pig out too. 3 Fruits and 5 veggies is perfect amount. 2nd day: Fast. Drink only water and green teas. If you feel dizzy you can drink juice or eat a fruit or veggie. But try your best to not. 3rd day- the same as 1st. After those 3 days your body is clean, but the metabolism is a lil bit slower. It is actually healthy to do one time per month to restart your system. You should lose 3- 10 pounds during it, but dont forget it is water weight too. Now the rest week eat ~800- 1200. Almost starving, yes. After that week dont increase your calorie intake dramatically. Eat 1500- 1700 for few days, only then increase to 2000. This diet is kinda stedially. You will lose at least 5 pounds, up to 10. It is not really healthy, but you wont get yo- yo if you wont pig out later. 1 Week wont screw your health, you know. Btw, all those diets work because of low calorie decifit. There is almost nothing to do with the food. You can eat pizza and lose weight, but it is just unhealthy and slower because of sat. fats. Also, you lose muscle and water mostly, fat is still here, so how you feel about that?

Unfortunately, there are no easy diets. There is no magic formula when it comes to quick weight loss. This is why so many people fail in keeping their weight off. As quick fix diets don't help you make the changes that you can maintain the long term. The only way to lose and keep it off is to:- Eat less and Move more. It is as simple as that.
