Question: the pills Saturday night. I did it Sunday, along with taking two, and yesterday I inserted two and took two. I don't return to the doctor until tomorrow where I hope he tells me that my cervix has softened a lil bit! That's all I want to here, just a fraction of some good news. As of now no effacement and no softening cervix! Has anyone had any similar experiences with this pill? If so, how long must I take it before I notice a physical change? I was also drinking Raspberry Leaf ta. Now, I can witness that the teac actually works. I went into labor with my third child after consuming the tea and a trip to Taco Bell! Every now and then throughout my day I may feel a tingle down there, especially walking. I also tried the hot bath thing. I guess I need prayer because nature is taking its course, but I am exhausted.

I know how it feels to want your baby to come as soon as possible and how fed up you must feel. The safest way is to just walk lots, it worked for me! A nice hot bath is great when you're in labour but I don't think it will start it. But I would try and wait a little longer, you really shouldn't try and self induce labour, you don't have that long to wait anyway.

Not sure abot primrose oil but i had a lavender bath on the day I was due and the following morning my little man had arrived by 10am. They do say nothing will make them come it if doesn't want to, but I know exactly how u feel :-) I'd say have a lavender bath, followed b a hot curry, followed by a bit of nookie. If that doesn't work, Babi is quite happy where it is, lol!! X

I took this with my first pregnancy under the guidance of my midwife starting at 36 or 37 weeks. I had my baby right on her due date, and I do think it was because of the evening primrose oil. It is perfectly safe as long as you don't start taking it until you are full term and as long as the doctor or midwife has given you the ok. It only helps to ripen your cervix- it will not cause dilation and it isn't something that will work right away, so don't get your hopes up too soon.

I'm afraid there is not anything you'll be able to do! He'll come while he is well and capable! and if you are simplest 38 weeks you might have a different four weeks to move! A lot of persons swear they ate highly spiced meals, or went for a stroll or drank raspberry leak tea and their Labour began.... But it is the entire drive of Nature! Don't want him right here too quickly.... experience your final little bit of being pregnant and your freedom, due to the fact that as soon as that little child looks, your existence will by no means be the equal once more! (In an EXTREMELY GOOD WAY OF COURSE!) Also.... little tip.... Get plenty of Rest! (I did not and ended up going without sleep for seventy two hours whilst I was once in Labour!) Lots Of Luck! xx

you may be sore if your midwife/dr checked you earlier in the day. I took primrose vaginally and it did nothing for my cervix. I hope you have better luck!
