I'm 16, 5'6 and I weigh 100 pounds on the dot. How do I gain healthy weight? At times I feel that I'm too skinny for my height so yeah. Any answers would be appreciated.

Your just born with a fast metabolism (luck you) and this will slow down as you age right now what you can do to gain more curves and look more fuller is eat healthy high protein foods like..
Eggs, nuts, lean meat like chicken and turkey, fish, beans.
Then eat lots of veggies and fruits(dark greens are especially good)
Eat good dairy like organic cheese, yogurt with no preservatives or any of that junk, organic ice cream, but you dont have to if you dont want.
Then eat good grains like whole wheat, brown rice, couscous, things like that.
Eat 6 small meals a day and cardio for about 30 min walking, joggin whatever you like and then strength training this will create more muscle making you not look skinny but nice healthy body. Then do some stretching.

follow these guidelines to gain healthy weight

Some times it helps to drink your calories, Not soda but ensure or a meal supplement drink, but don't skip the meal just add a drink with it.

I really don't think you need any extra supplements or medications, just to gain weight. Get on a solid high-calorie diet, and you'll have no problem putting on the weight. I'd suggest checking out this fitness site that I follow:

my personal opinion. the women with the healthy weight for their tallness. they tend to look pump and that's not look cute. most celebrities, megan fox, wiona ryders, kira knightley, natalie portman or whatever...those are skinny in reality. you can observe by look at their arms and legs so small but they appear like they look fatter on movies and the poster because the camera angle, bra that they wearing and the photoshoping. most celebrities I have seen in the reality. they tend to have model shape. quite skinny but I find that's cute. but its up to you what you like. I have heard eating banana milk shake or 2-3 fresh bananas every days can gain the weight.

A good idea is to eat foods high in protein to help you gain weight in a healthy way. Continue to avoid foods high in trans fats (like some fast food/ processed food) and limit your intake of saturated fat (like those found in cheese and milk).

If u want to gain weight, don't go stuffing yourself with junk food beacause these foods are full of saturated fats and are very bad for your health. To gain weight eat more often, like every 2-3 hours on healthy high calorie foods such as nuts, dried fruit, full fat yoghurt, cheese, peanut butter and jelly sandwhich or you could have peanut butter on apple slices, avacados are high in calories and contains alot of the good fats. Same goes for fish such as tuna, sardines, salmon (these are all high in calories and contain the omega 3 fatty oils), carbohydrates too are high in calories; try opt for brown bread, rice or pasta instead of white to get more fibre. The only way you're gonna gain weight is to eat more than you usually do and you should do some weight training to gain muscle. Before you go to bed remember to drink a glass of full fat milk!
