I am in good shape, but would like to lose a little more body fat to see a more muscle definition on my body. I eat very healthy (with the exception of a few glasses of wine on the weekend) and work out 5-6 days a week (weights 3 times a week) and 20-45 mins cardio 3-4 times a week. What can I do to boost my body to rid those last few body fat inches? I am going on a cruise in 4 weeks so want to look toned in a bikini. I am 5'7 and

A substantial amount of "body fat" is actually subcutaneous water. You can appear more defined by removing this water--which is best done by cutting all salt out of your diet. Eating salt forces your body to retain more water.
Cardio is what cuts the fat. Try increasing your cardio to an hour or even an hour and a half, at least until your cruise. You'll notice a dramatic difference each time you leave the gym, even the first time. The longer your body is working at cardio pace, the longer your metabolism is spiked after leaving the gym. It's a win-win situation.
4 weeks is a short period of time... but its also a manageable one. The good thing is, you have a definite goal, and you can easily keep to a rigorous workout regimen for just a measly month! Every time you reach for that cookie inbetween meals, just remember how you want those cruise photos to come out, and you'll find the strength to keep going.

These scales are very inaccurate and you should not pay any attention to them.
Did you know that females should never get their body fat below 13%
This is the amount of fat that your body needs to function normally.
If you get even slightly ill with a body fat % lower than 13% t you can die from organ failure or brain damage.
Judging by your height and weight I actually think your body fat % is more like 25% your BMI puts you in the normal range. Unless you are really muscular for a girl you're body fat % couldn't be any more than 21% at absolute lowest.
Do a body fat % test with a tape measure, there are several online tests you can do at home, a scale can not do this, it is impossible.
If you are really committed about 4-5lbs per week is about the maximum safe rate of weight lose for anybody.
Realistically if you are committed and can loose about 8lbs you might just sneak in to about 20% body fat, which puts you in to an athletic range. (if you do ab work outs you will start to see abs at this body fat %)
LOL..just read your update being a guy now makes it sound like a reasonable question...sorry for the chastising....!!
Weight loss will still be the same though, about 8lbs. You might just get under 10% body fat, which means you might start to see a bit of ab definition.

When we want to get rid of body fat, there is no way to specifically burn fat from one part of the body. Doing situps won't burn the fat that is covering your abs and doing tricep extensions won't get rid of the fat that is covering your triceps. The only thing you can do is lose weight all around and eventually the problem area will also improve. Activities that burn calories include running, biking, swimming and other high intensity activities.

to get started no soda drink a gallon of water a day spring or distill no tap water!! or crystal light for your meals.
Lunch eat a grilled chicken breast vegetables with light oil or margarine and a fruit.
Dinner eat a tuna or chicken salad and a small cut of vegetables and a fruit.
no eating after 7pm !!
do 250 sit-ups in the morning and 250 sit-ups before bed.
Try this for 3 weeks and see the difference only if you really want to loose weight.
