Question: I'm losing weight but in the meantime i dont even wanna try on a tank top. But its getting to 90 degrees out here. so how can i speed up the weight loss around my arms? Or is there anything else I can do that u recommend? doesnt low weight, high reps burn fat in the area being worked out?

There's no way to work off the fat in a particular area. For example, a lot of folks who are new to working out do a zillion crunches thinking that it's going to flatten their stomachs and expose their abs.. so not true. Fat does not leave one area because you exercise that area. These folks will have strong abs hidden underneath their stomach fat. You need to diet and get on a good workout regime. Then, you'll start burning fat everywhere, including from your arms. Want a fat-burning trick? Most women do cardio like MAD to lose fat, but the smart ones strength train. Cardio burns calories for the time that you're doing the cardio, but strength training can add muscle and the more muscle you have, the more food that muscle continuously needs... calories are the muscle's food so the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn while doing nothing. Want another fat burning trick? The largest muscles in your body are found in your legs. So, the leg muscles have the most potential to burn the most calories for you. When I started dieting/working out, I targeted my legs the most, got them oober strong and lost a ton of body fat. But remember, muscles are everywhere.. build them all up and you can lose fat fast. Pair up strength training with a cardio routine and you'll burn that fat even faster. Best of luck!

It is not possible to spot-reduce fat. The only way to lose fat ANYWHERE on your body is to do some cardio every day. Lifting weights will help tone up the muscle, but it does nothing to actually reduce the fat in a particular area.

low weights, high reps works best. also clean ur body out- drink lots of water, eat fruit, eat healthy, the basic stuff. believe me- make a conscious effort and do these and other basic things of a healthy lifestyle and u will see results. give urself one days of the week where u can indulge/reward urself! good luck!

make an office snack box of your own so you re not tempted by your colleagues candy bowl fill it with small individually packaged portions of soy chips almonds and dried fruit

Eat Veggies, grilled skinless chicken breasts, and grilled fish. Cross training is really a great way to go. Sunday - Try running a mile then walking a mile. If you can't do the full mile running that is fine. Push as far as you can. Monday - Run .10 mile sprints 5 times. Cool down between each. Jog/speed walk .5 mile. Tuesday - Ride a stationary bike for 45 minutes. Then do 35 of each. Sit ups Crunches Bicycle Sit ups Wednesday - Take off and let your body heal. Thursday - Run again. Same as Monday. Push as best you can. Friday - Weight Training. Work on your upper boddy and lower body. Saturday - Take off. A lifestyle of eating healthy and working out properly will change your body in dramatic ways. Be patient. Results come with time, not overnight. Note - Increase your workout as you get in better shape. Go on runs of longer distance. Ride longer on the bike. Lift more weight or add more reps. Good luck!
