I am not over-weight by American standards by any means, so I don't want to know about any pills that are only for drastic weight-loss.
I was also wondering if anyone knows whether or not I can still find ephedra in anything.

There are no weight loss pills without any side-effects, and for your case where you are already in a healthy BMI weight range and just want to tone a bit... your best case really is exercise. The diet pills on the market seem like a fast fix, but many of them can be addicting. The worst part about them is that they can permanently damage your metabolism...so that weight that you quickly lost, will come back, and be harder to lose in the future. As much as we would all like to think we can target those few bad spots with a miracle drug, the fact of the matter is drugs will target even those spots you don't usually want it to...
As for people who actually need to lose weight, my recommendation is Xenical. You do need a prescription for it, but it blocks out 1/3 of the excess fat in each meal you consume.
