I'm in the army and i need advice on the weight control program? Topic: I'm in the army and i need advice on the weight control program?

Question: I was just enrolled in the weight control program at my new unit(pcs'd and unit just got back from downrange) I am 2% over. I also have a documented case of hypothyroidism and take medication everyday. I also have gone to my doctor and had this put in a profile stating that there is a possibility of high BMP due to this condition. Can they do this? I have read AR 600-9 and find nothing in there? Please help

I would go to your doctor and ask them, they should know the ends and outs. If you are only 2% over, I would think that you could lose the extra weight rather quickly. Perhaps if you just found out you had hypothyroidism or it is not effectively treatable (I'm not overly familiar with this), you could get it waived. If the doctor is of no real help, you could always ask JAG. They should be able to do the research and find out for you. JAG could prove more helpful than the doctor.

OK, it depends whether you want to do a thorough detoxification program, or something quicker but not as 'deep cleaning'. Personally and professionally I recommend a systematic holistic detox program. This in itself may take care of your allergies. It sounds like you're already knowledgeable about nutrition and maintain a pretty healthy diet so the detox, though lengthy, should be simple for you. First, make sure you're drinking 8 to 10 glasses of pure water daily. Start out with a colon-parasite cleanse, then a kidney cleanse, then a liver-gallbladder cleanse. Too much info to get into here, so you can read these pages (and all the links under 'Read more information...'). There are some supplement recommendations for this process too. Colon health: http://www.holistic-wellness-basics.com/healthy-colon.html Holistic detox: http://www.holistic-wellness-basics.com/holistic-detoxification.html Most detox 'quickies' just skim the surface, but are pretty ineffective as far as deep detox at the cellular level. So it depends on your health goals...

its not as bad as i thought it was. but when you go ,you go.i got the clumping stuff. i guess it just clumps all the stuff up and pushes it all out without leaving any behind.i guess.
