Question: I am not fat, but slightly chubby and I want to loose the last bit of weight I have. I am wondering are there any quick, efficient ways to loose weight that don't take months and months to work?

Best way is to jog or fast-pace walking. The amount of distance you do in 15 minute of jogging can have the same benefit if you walk that SAME distance. Actually, it is healthier.

Try doing cardio with interval training like 5-6 days a week (i.e. running, swimming, cycling, dancing), then do weight lifting for 3-4 days of the week. The cardio will solve your "fat problem" and the weight training will help your "muscle problem"

High Intensity Interval Training seems to get the best results. Google it, you'll find plenty of good resources. Basically its doing an aerobic activity at a very high intensity, then very low intensity over and over. For example, if the activity was running. Instead of just jogging at an even pace, you sprint for 30 seconds, then slow jog for 60 seconds. You don't have to do exactly a 30/60 interval, but the point is to go high intensity low intensity.

It depends on how you're eating. Of course running will help you lose weight, but if you are eating poorly or are consuming more calories than you are burning, you really won't notice a loss in fat. Maybe just a slight toning of leg muscles, but not much. If you eat about 1800 calories a day, and run for 20 minutes, then you should see some changes in a few weeks. If you kicked it up and ran 30 minutes, and maybe did an ab/arm/whatever workout, you would see changes faster. It all depends of course!
