What type of dog is this?

What type of dog is this? Topic: What type of dog is this?

Question: We were driving around and saw these beautiful two dogs today. They were about 3 foot tall standing on all four legs, white with long fur and had perpendicular fur on their legs that looked like a mane on a horse. It reminded me of a flag flying in the wind. Does anyone have any idea what type of dog this could be?

It could have been a Samoyed if they had pointed ears. A little smaller and it could have been an American Eskimo though the generally don't get taller than about 19 inches unless mixed with something. Was the tail plumed or curved? If so, I'd guess a Samoyed. :)

Here are my top recommendations for teas to help you with sleep: kava kava, valerian root, chamomile, hops, passion flower, lemon balm, catnip, and skullcap. These are pretty much listed in order of preference. So kava kava would be my first choice, valerian my second choice, then chamomile etc. Avoid green or black tea, since these contain caffeine---unless you can find them in decaf. You can also look for a tea that has a combination of some of these herbs. I think there is a tea called Sleepytime Tea by Celestial Seasonings that may be available in walmart. I don't know how you feel about over the counter sleep aids (Unisom, Sominex, etc.) in drug stores. I guess they are ok if you use them occasionally. I hope this helps.

A picture or more description on body confirmation would definitely help, but here are a few possibilities: White German Shepard: http://www.petinfopedia.com/images/Germa... White Alaskan Malamute: http://alaskanmalamutepups.com/files/pic... Creamy Afghan Hound: http://www.petwave.com/~/media/Images/Ce... Could have been a mix as well; again, conformation details would really help.

I'm not sure if that's descriptive enough, but possibly a samoyed? Did it look anything like these? http://www.sanorka.com/images/homePic2.jpg http://www.yourpurebredpuppy.com/dogbreeds/photos-RS/samoyedsf4.jpg http://www.doggies.com/images-new/breed-guide-dog-photos/samoyed-body.jpg

I agree with comment below. Look at your food labels and try to have snacks that have about 15-20 carbohydrates in a serving. This will not bring a blood sugar up too highbut, it will help to prevent too low of sugars also! That long list of food by the other answerer is too long to remember in your head but are good suggestions. Just stick with low carbs but not NO carbs. Even chocolate snacks can have 15 carbs in one serving. Also you may try to have diet soda or crystal light on hand for a refreshment.
