Question: i hardly eat anything, yet i gain weight, a LOT of weight, when my other friends eat SO much more than me, and even loose weight. Some of my friends said to eat 6 meals a day to inscrease my metabilism, i haven't tried it yet though. Are there any other ways i can loose weight? fast..?

The quick answer is yeah you can lose a lot of weight fast, but it will come back and you'll be fatter than before. If you dont eat, you body sees it as starving and will hold onto every calorie that you put into it. Your friends are correct. To increase your metabolism you need to eat small frequent meals. You also need to WORK OUT. Sorry no way around that. Lift weights! It will increase your muscle mass and that will help increase your metabolism too. Do not eat crap! Your meals should consist of complex carbohydrates, healthy fats, and protein. Back to losing fast, being healthy is life long. Dont look for an easy fix or an easy way out. There are none. Start today by researching healthy eating and living (fitness competitors and body builders are good examples, natural of course) and for the remainder of your life not only will you look good but you'll be health too.

1st of all you can not increase or decrease your BMI, unless you are still growing or rapidly getting older or younger...your BMI stays the same for your Height and age. If you mean how to increase your actual body mass to reach your target BMI... That depends on if you are male, female, how old you are and how appropriately you wanna do it. To effectively gain muscle mass, try eating protein and low impact weights, no cardio...sounds like you are probably young and have a high metabolism...some people cannot gain at all...too many variables for any one other than a dietitian or trainer to give you a proper "correct" answer for you.

Metabolism differs from person to person. If you are naturally heavy or overweight now you will benefit from carefully changing your lifestyle instead of going into a crash diet. In general metabolism speeds up as we take in calories but also burn them. The best boost is a large breakfast full of slow release energy like oats. Avoid all stimulants like sugar, caffeine and cigarettes. find time during the day to do active things, have plenty of water and healthy snacks like nuts and fruit. Eat plenty of protein in the middle of the day and calm down your eating towards the evening. Let your body know it's time to sleep and get to bed on time. Missing sleep over time will make you put on weight. Basically if you starve yourself your body's reaction is to reserve as much fat as possible and you will not lose weight in the right way. Think of it as a lifestyle change rather than a quick fix diet. Good Luck!

drink a lot of water eat 3 good-sized meals a day and maybe a couple of healthy snacks in between exorcise more people who exorcise more can eat more than you and still be slimmer and skinnier. also when you eat less, your metabolism slows down because your body is having a reaction to your little nutrition, and its trying to prepare for possibly a famine (which isn't going to happen of course, its a natural reaction)

okay I heard that green tea helps so i tried some around 7.But i just drank it straight.no honey or sugar.it was disgusting.and um this is embarrssing but i really had to GO like 30 minutes later.and i had to keep going too.so try green tea.

You need to shock the system. 1, Drink 1 1/2gallon of water per day. 2, Take 10, 000 steps per day, buy a pedometer and use it all day, at the end 3 hour before bed time check and make up the difference. 3, Eat 8 meals but total cal must not exceed 1500 cal day eat any thing and every thing within the day's cal limits, satisfy craving once in a blue moon but not every blue moon. But compensate it in 7 days. If your already an advanced runner, a speed ladder would definately be a good idea to include in your workout. you can get workout plans and ideas through google. If you are a begginner, speed ladders are still a good idea, but they do not help as much as lifting weights for strong muscles and running.
