Question: I have a few acne scars, and I really want them gone within a few days, but I don't have time to get to a dermatologist. Does anyone know any home remedies, like a face mask or something? Any ideas are helpful!

Well, when it comes to acne scars,u should include a scar serum in ur skincare regime since this could improve ur scar appearance by promoting healing and cell renewal.Plus,u could also use Vitamin E or Cocoa Butter since these really works wonders on acne scars. However,if u would like to opt for remedies,I would suggest different 4 steps that u could try at home to improve ur scars. Baking Soda-Exfoliate your skin with baking soda. Often times, a version of baking soda is used in cosmetic microdermabrasion treatments. You can give yourself a mini microdermabrasion treatment by mixing one teaspoon of baking soda with the two teaspoons of filtered water. Then gently rub the mixture on your acne scar for sixty seconds then rinse it off. Fresh Fruits-In addition to eating fresh fruits to supply your skin with collagen building vitamin C, you can also smear them onto your face for gentle acid exfoliation. Just puree a forth a cup of pineapple and smooth it onto your face. Leave it for 10-15 minutes, then rinse. Since the pineapple contains ascorbic acid, it will impart a brightening effect on the face, and help fade acne marks. Apple And Honey-Using a blender, make a mixture out of 1 peeled apple with 1 tablespoon of yogurt, half a cucumber and 1 tablespoon of honey. Apply on face, leave for 20 minutes and wash off with warm water. Olive Oil-Massage a pea-sized amount of olive oil onto your face.Acne scaring can cause the skin to lose its elasticity and suppleness. The moisturizing nutrients in the olive oil will penetrate the skin to deeply moisturize the skin and soften the skin’s texture. Well, these are those 4 remedies that works best for ur skin that impose no irritation to ur skin.Good luck trying these at home and pick one that suits u.Hope this helps and great skin wishes. P/s:U could also opt to use a facial scrub once a week to gently exfoliate ur dead skin cells to improve skin complexion.Do try these remedies I suggest u.It work wonders on my skin and I'm sure it would do u the same.Hope this helps:-)

This is the best, safe and permanent cure and it´s using low cost natural oils which are only beneficial to the skin. It has worked wonders for many. See my Best Answers(acne scars, etc.) and responses from users. Before using any commercial products you should do web searches to see if they have harmful and toxic ingredients. YOU WILL FIND MANY HAVE..And if you do web searches you will find many are scams. Use an organic or natural oil - olive oils work really well and are particularly good for acne even if you have oily skin - and massage over and over with a quite strong, vigorous motion (that is the key to it working!) Better to use a " to and fro" action not a circular action and use finger tips or sides and front of fingers depending where on face you massage. You will find you can make it more vigorous and can massage for longer periods as you progress (build up to 30 to 40 min a session for best results). The massaging friction forces a fresh, clearer skin to emerge. Initially, the skin has to adjust and if soreness, breakouts or other reactions happen - skin might expel poisons that need to be expelled - then stop and resume when you can. You have to find the pace that works for you - it's different for every person. In about 2 - 4 days - depending on how vigorously you have been able to make the massage - you should see clearly noticeable results. Keep it up and in a week or so your skin will completely clear. It also gives skin a radiantly healthy glow. I have an ultra-sensitive skin and had countless skin problems - dry flaking skin, blackheads, pimples, pimple and other scars, even moles, discolorations, uneven and sun damaged skin - and this one treatment completely and permanently got rid of them all. You will not need to use any other treatment ever again. Also, as olive oil is a natural moisturizer you will not need to use any other. Some skin clinics may tell you to only massage gently but this treatment has only been beneficial to the many who have tried it. Try it - you will be happy that you did! It really works. Skin Culture make some pretty good home facial peels designed to treat acne scars. They work just as well as the peels you'd get in a dermatologist's office, but are far less expensive. Plus, you can do them at home. I've met many acne scar sufferers who love Skin Culture peel products. You can read some of their stories here: http://skin-culture-peel-review.com/acne-scars/skin-culture-peel-and-acne-scars/

Personally I'm using fresh lemon juice Slice a lemon, place it in the microwave for about a minute on the lowest setting to bring the lemon to room temperature and get the juice out, squeeze it on the plate and dilute it with an oil-free toner and apply with cotton round Because lemons is acidic it tends to burn

Mild to moderately severe acne may be treated with over-the-counter gels, lotions, and creams such as benzoyl peroxide which is applied directly to the skin. Oral antibiotics may also be prescribed to reduce inflammation while oral contraceptives have also shown to improve acne. In episodes where acne is extremely severe, another oral medication known as Isotretinoin (Accutane) is one of the most effective treatments with successful results. However, all these medications can cause negative side effects and it is important that you inform your health practitioner or dermatologist immediately. It is also important to develop a good skincare routine that involves cleansing your skin in the mornings, evenings and after workouts. By adjusting your lifestyle and incorporating a healthy diet, exercise, drinking lots of water and getting adequate sleep will also help to make a significant difference to your skin’s appearance. Herbs have proven to be a more natural, gentle alternative for the treatment of acne rather than the harsh, synthetic chemicals used in over-the-counter products and conventional medications. Not only are herbal remedies safe and effective to use, they also support the skin, immune and digestive systems. Herbal ingredients such as Tea Tree Oil & Neem contain antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiseptic properties and are not only effective for acne but for other skin conditions too. Other herbs such as Rooibos and Bulbine frutescence (a South African herb) have wonderful antioxidant and healing properties and also help to prevent skin infection and provide ongoing relief. In addition, Lavender essential oil acts as a circulatory stimulant and antiseptic, and is used to treat burns and wounds and to prevent scarring. Homeopathic ingredients like Causticum hahnemanni, Carbo vegetabilis, Hepar sulphuris calcareum, Silicea help the body to expel all foreign or toxic matter such as pus of acne. They treat acne on the face, neck, shoulders, back, and other affected areas, fight off bacteria that causes pimples and blackheads, improve the appearance of bumps and flaky, irritated skin, speed up new skin rejuvenation and removal of dead skin cells, & encourages routine regulation of skin oils for acne prevention.
