I am a guy in my mid-20s, looking for a way to drop perhaps 10 pounds, mainly off of my upper legs and lower stomach. Please help me out here

the best way i've found it to reduce sugars and seperate carbos from fats. similar to adkins or south beach, I use the suzanne somers method. The key to the whole way of eating is cutting out sugars in foods. after about 2 months, your body will begin to 'melt' and you will see your weight fall off! I have used this personally and lost 50 lbs of my post pregnancy weight. the best part, you can eat as much as you want! you must eat whole grains, not white flour. eat fruits alone- on an empty stomach and you must wait 3 hours before switching from a carbo meal to a protein/fat meal. it is very simple to do, and does take some meal preparation and planning. Doing high cardio activities will burn body fat fast and effectively.
Skipping is a good example, its better than jogging and running and 10 minutes of skipping = 20 minutes of jogging.
Also, swimming is probably the best sport you can do to lose weight and get toned, its pretty easy too as its not hard on your back or any other part of your body.
I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

you should walk 3 or 4 miles a day. at least 3 times a week. bike riding will help your legs and tummy. 10 pounds isn't a lot to loose. sounds like you need to tighten up those muscles. i wouldn't change your eating habits much. add a raw fruit or veggie to every meal. will help burn a few calories. and fill you up faster.

Follow a healthy, balanced, low calore diet and supplement it with the right type of exercise.
For example food with low energy density combined with resistance training will get you looking and feeling great by the summer.

Even if you can't choose what you eat, you can choose how much you eat of each thing. Eat lots of fruits and veggies. Cut out sweet, fried, processed, junk, and fast foods as much as possible. Drink just plain water, and plenty of it. Can you get fruit to keep with you to snack on so you don't overeat at meals?
Try YouTube exercise videos. The ones from SixPackShortcuts are good. However, no matter what you do, it likely will take longer than a month to get good results. Usually at least 6 weeks is recommended. More is you are a lot overweight.
