Absolutely not. Weightless pills are bad. Period. They don't even work right, she will just gain the weight back when she stops taking them and they are really dangerous. They can cause serious heart issues. Talk to her doctor about a health plan. Or just research it yourself. She needs to eat healthier, more veggies, white meat instead of red meat. Skim milk instead of whole. Stay away from sweets or junk food. Keep a food journal and just cut back calories, but not excessively! She is still a growing girl. Try 1500 calories a day at least, and don't go over 2100. And the most important thing. Exercise exercise exercise! Encourage her to get a gym membership, and get one with her to show support. Or get her into a sport or activity. Do not make her feel insecure by telling her she needs to loose weight, put it in other words like "I think we need to be healthier and more active" just please...don't give her diet pills. You could really hurt her, and set up a future for poor body image.

I reccomend not piggin out after night practices because your body has less time to burn those calories, so you go to sleep with all this extra energy and then it just becomes fat. Just exercise at least 30 minutes a day. Do mostly Cardio since you already condition and have muscle. Also drink tons of water. If you drink 8 glasses a day you will flush out a lot of weight.

sweetheart, you are a young teenager, why would you think its okay to take a pill like that? you are going through an age right now where its normal to experience changes in your body and i'm sure you have heard this a million times, but its really not even safe for anyone to take pills like that. there are some exceptions for people that are very obese and need some help for serious health reasons. believe me, i suffered from this problem, it becomes an addiction, and do you know what could happen? you will look very old before you should, it literally changes the way you think and feel, you can lose your hair, have heart damage and most of the time even if you dont experience any of this when you stop taking these pills after you have lost your desired weight (which doesnt happen usually, people get obsessed and never can get enough) but if you do you will not only gain the weight back that you lost you will gain back even more. see your doctor, just eat healthy , enjoy your life you are at an age where you dont need this to be a problem.

As someone who had the misfortune of taking prescription diet pills daily from the ages of 12 to 17, I can say from experience that this is not a good idea at all. I had such a horrible time with side effects (I literally had every one listed for the medication in the Physician's Desk Reference at one time or another during those 5 years), which the prescribing doctor told me were all in my head. I quit taking them after I had a hysterical breakdown at school - just started crying for no reason and could not stop. Your teen years are hard enough to deal with sometimes what with the hormones, moods, etc., let alone being addicted to a medication on top of it. Sometimes, I wonder what those years would have been like without them . . . What she needs is a diet and exercise plan. I can tell you from experience that Weight Watcher's is a good plan, but it can be kind of expensive. Another idea would be to get her a referral to see a registered dietician in order to custom build a diet plan for your daughter. As for exercise, brisk walking would work well and the only expense would be for the shoes (walking shoes or cross-trainers: New Balance is a great brand for this). As for whether or not the listed medications are "safe" for a 13 year old, I'd suggest you cak a pharmacist.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read. I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off. It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise. Get started today!

Weight loss pills are stupid and dont work! The ONLY way to lose weight is exercise, diet and surgery. Obviously she isn't going to have surgery. So that means she need to diet and exercise. Dont let her eat fast food or drink soda or anything like that. You want her eating fruit and veg, healthy wholemeal food. She needs to exercise as well to lose weight! She should start doing cardio (swimming, jogging, cycling) everyday. Do NOT let her take weight loss pills, thats stupid and useless
