special k or cherios, orange juice, skim milk, banana or orange, eggs
salad, grilled chicken sandwich on wheat breat, v8, light pasta salad, carrot sticks, healthy choice soup
Ants on a log — Spread peanut butter on celery sticks and top with raisins.
Banana ice — Peel several very ripe bananas, break them into 1-inch pieces, and freeze the pieces in a sealed plastic bag. Just before serving, whirl the pieces in the blender with a small amount of water or juice. Serve right away. Add berries for a different flavor or top with fruit or nuts.
Mini pizzas — Spoon pizza sauce onto half a bagel, English muffin, or mini pita. Top with low-fat mozzarella cheese and your favorite veggies and toast or bake at a low setting until the cheese is melted and the bagel is crispy.
Healthy ice pops — Freeze fresh, unsweetened 100% juice in ice pop molds or ice cube trays.
Low-fat pita and hummus — Warm a pita in the oven on low, then cut it into small triangles. Dip it in a tasty, low-fat hummus. Hummus is available in yummy flavors like garlic and spicy red pepper.
Happy trails mix — Combine 1 cup whole-grain toasted oat cereal with 1/4 cup chopped walnuts and 1/4 cup dried cranberries for a healthy trail mix
oven baked chicken w/ veggies, fresh fruit, tall glass of milk, homemade sub (baked chicken or turkey, not 2 much cheese, lettuce, lite dressing, etc), stuffed peppers
deserts- if craving chocolate, take a hot chocolate instead of a chocolate bar, low fat frozen yogurt, trail mix, diced fruit

For breakfast some good choices would be:
-Egg products/egg substitutes
-HEALTHY cereal (such as Frosted Mini Wheats, Kashi, Special K, Etc.)
-Whole wheat toast
What you should avoid for breakfast:
-Fatty foods (such as pork bacon, steak, etc.)
-Muffins (even bran)
Keep in mind for breakfast, you want simple carbohydrates and protein that will give you fuel to start your day. So aim for more fruit, eggs, and things like that :)
Foods for lunch:
-A turkey or ham sandwich on whole wheat bread with veggies and mustard. Skip the mayo, it's loaded with fat and calories while mustard has 0 calories
-A salad with plenty of veggies such as lettuce, fresh spinach, garbanzo beans, broccoli, carrots, and for a twist you can add mandarin oranges or tofu
-Veggie burgers from Morningstar :) they're delicious. But again, skip the mayo and opt for mustard
-If you absolutely must have chips, skip the fatty potato chips and have Sun Chips or Chex Mix. They're lower in fat than potato chips, and Sun Chips have whole grains in them, and both of them are very yummy :)
What to avoid:
-Fatty meats (like hamburgers and hot dogs)
-Whole wheat pasta with light tomato sauce and a veggie like broccoli or peas
-Fish ! :) it's loaded with healthy vitamins and oils that your body needs, and its really yummy too
Remember, for a healthy diet you should drink 3 small glasses of low fat or skim milk a day, and 8 glasses of water, or however much you feel is necessary :) and try not to eat out as much, but if you absolutely need to, order fish or a salad. and when you order the salad, ask for the dressing on the side. Most restaurants drench their salads in fattening ranch or ceasar dressing, and if it's on the side you can control how much you put in. Also, most restaurants give you portions that are much larger than you should have, so ask for a box beforehand so you can get rid of half to 2/3 of your salad beforehand, so you don't overeat.
Another healthy decision you can make is to cut out completely all juices and sodas. Even diet sodas are bad for you- its been proven. So the best you can do is to steer clear of any kind of processed drink. Water and milk are your best options, and i know it will be hard if you drink those kinds of things a lot, but you'll get used to not drinking them and soon you won't even want them :)

Beans, nuts, salad, little pasta and make sure it's whole wheat. Good breakfast would be Crispix or Cheerios.
A good lunch would be something with beans or salad or whole wheat toast.
A good dinner would be a salad and something with whole wheat pasta like lasagna and it would be better if you ate the salad after eating the other food for better digestion.
Remember a rich fiber diet!

this is an easy one.
breakfast-1 tall glass milk, cherios,1 orange.
lunch-pasta,lowfat/low salt sauce, tall glass water
dinner1 salmon fillet, (low salt) side of greenbeans, milk.
desert-1 bluberry muffin, water
snack-PBJ or an apple orange banana, smthing like that.

~ Try this Chicken Rice recipe* it taste awesome
2 Large chicken breasts
1 bag of short grain rice
boil the rice for about 20 min or until ready .
then bake the chicken for about an hour or until golden brown.
when each one i finished get the chicken and slice it into small peices and mix
it with the rice and butter , pepper , and salt . thenn add a little hotsauce and if you want . add broccoli . that awesome and healthy im sure your daughter will love it !
