For constipation, suppositories, laxatives and enemas are all totally unnecessary if you eat the right foods. All fruit and vegetables in very large amounts are laxative. You need to permanently change your diet or you are likely to get colon cancer. Constipation can make you extremely unwell and can lead to colon cancer as it causes a build up of carcinogenic toxins in the system. The intake of foods such as milk, cheese, white rice, white flour and red meat should be restricted, because they tend to contribute to constipation. Any food that has had the fiber stripped out, the nutrients processed out or slows down the digestion is a constipation culprit. erm hello, i'm sorry if this may affend you but i'm going to say this straight! what your friend did was seriously stupid, its like giving a non diabetic a shot of insulin or to reduced the amount insulin in your body. you can die if you have too much or too little insulin in your body. A healthly persons pancreas is what keeps the balance of your blood sugar levels, that is controlled, by the release and storage of glucose (suger) controlled by insulin. so too much and your body can't keep up. too little and there not enough in you to function properly. the diabetic pills are not something to mess with. why do you think there called "diabetic pills" there for people who are diabetic. if you decide to take more that the recomended dose, you can be really ill or worse. well i'm sorry if i have babbled on but just listen to my advise please thankyou

White bread is bad. Whole grains are best. Read the packages. They tell you fiber content. Fresh fruit and vegetables are good. You need fiber and its easy and cheap to get. No excuses.

If you want to use fiber laxatives, you need to drink plenty of water/fluids/juices to move that stuff down your digestive tract. Avoid coffee and black tea as they are dehydrating. Mineral oil may work, but it will block the absorption of nutrients. Other remedies are magnesium sulfate, senna tea and dried fruits (prunes) which are high in magnesium.

No, white bread is not good. Too much fibre when your system isn't used to it can cause even more problems. You need to add a whole lot more fresh fruit and vegetables to your diet. Taking a quality probiotic supplement is also excellent. You also probably need to drink more water and add beneficial fats to your diet, like omega 3 fish oils and coconut oil. Magnesium supplements can also help a lot as most people are magnesium deficient.

Yeah, A comedian once said.... There is as much fibre in a bowl of kelloggs all bran, than there is in the toilet after eating a bowl of kelloggs all bran lol.Also Prunes and any pure fruit drinks, should help with your problem
