Topic: Do you have to eat healthy to lose weight?
May 25, 2019 / By Barnaby Question:
I started working out a month ago, so I'm in good shape, but I have one problem I'm living around more bad food than good, and its hard to eat as healthy I would like. But as long as I eat at the minimum calorie level will I still lose as much weight as if I eat healthy foods? And when I say unhealthy foods I mean foods like ramens, an occasional pop, lucky charms, chips, etc.

Not necessarily. If you keep eating at the minimum calorie level you shouldn't gain weight. You'll probably end up with serious health problems after awhile though.
If you can't eat healthy, I would suggest trying to "healthy up" your junk food at the very least. Buy a can of veggies and throw it in with your ramen. Only drink water, and throw in a low-cal flavor packet if you don't like it plain. Buy whole-wheat chips, or dip your chips in hummis instead of in some unhealthy dip. Throw away the skin on your fried chicken. etc etc. Would also REALLY suggest you buy this:
So you can do some healthy cooking in the microwave. It's excellent if you don't know how to cook (or are too lazy/impatient to cook.) I have one and use it to make pasta and rice all the time. You don't even have to stir. Read the reviews if you aren't convinced. But it's not worth losing weight if you ruin your health in the process. That kind of defeats the point of losing weight.

eat not more than 1200 calories a day. try fresh fruit, juice, vegetables. avoid potato, coconut, banana, beef, prawn or pork.
are you doing any workout? do you exercise? you can try this.
it is a 70-75 min workout plan.
15-20min= fly,Biceps Curl, Triceps Curl, Forward Arm Raise
(all these=30 repetations)
20-25min=Basic Crunch, Reverse Curl, Full Crunch, Squats, Rear Leg Lifts
(all these=30 repetations)
30min= yoga (try 6-8 postures, DO NOT forget to do the Corpse Pose after every pose)
doing yoga after 30 mins of walking or after any workout is really very very effective for loosing weight.
if you are very busy and dont have much time to spend 75-80 min for working out then go for a 30min of walking and then do yoga. it works really very fast.
i have lost 4.4 pounds in 14 days by following this work out plan.
fast food is salty food if you cut back on the salt in a few weeks youll be able to better taste the natural salts in food and may not crave the junk as much as you used to
add red pepper flakes to your pantry when eaten early in the day red pepper lowers the amount of food youll eat later

Possibly, you're eating too few calories? Too many calories? maybe now is the time to start counting calories as this is how we are able to determine what is going wrong. At 125, 1200 calories would be perfect for you. 500 of those calories should come from protein. The remaining 700 should be split amongst carbs and fat however you like. Another dieting method you could try, and I recommend more so than the above, is a low carb diet. You can implement it like this: Still eat 1200 calorie every day. Still eat 500 calories from protein. Now eat 500 calories from fat. Eat 200 calories from carbs. For the low carb method, you should design your meal plan around these food sources: Protein: eggs, chicken, tuna, salmon, white fish, turkey, whey protein powder Fat: almonds, cashews, all natural peanut butter, avacado, extra virgin olive oil, fish oil capsules, evening primrose capsules Carbs: only GREEN veggies. For the first diet method you can use the above protein and fat sources but you can also add these carbs to the mix: fruits, any veggies, oatmeal, rice, potatoes, pasta I also think you should include exercise. 3x per week lift weights for 45-60 mins. Full body workouts each session. Follow that with 30 mins of cardio. That's ALL you will need to drop 10lbs! If you have any questions, just ask. good luck!!
