Question: I was wondering if I only were to drink water & home made juice for 7 days how much weight I will loose. How much weight did you loose from doing this. and I read online its good to cleanse the body and it's not dangerous!

All those cleansing programs are scams so much so that they're a joke from the past...as in a few years ago. I'm surprised you can still find articles to read about them unless you're looking at something archived by one of the thousands of those things that are out of business by now. Do you realize most juices are high in sugars so you're essentially just taking in sugar and water? What's healthy about that? Sure it's possible to lose some weight doing something like that but in the process your body would suck missing nutrients from your bones and tissues to make up for the loss. You can't reverse such losses and they will hurt your overall health the rest of your life. It's a terribly blind idea that only stacks bad results upon more bad. There are smart ways to lose weight healthy that don't hurt your overall health. It should go without saying that ANY program that promises huge weight loss in short time spans is not healthy nor smart. Healthy weight loss is usually losing no more than 1-3 pounds per week. A good diet is one that insists you still get proper nutrition through quality fruits, veggies, grains, milks, oils, etc. I've heard good things about the Jenny Craig program. I was on Weight Watchers with great success once. I've heard good things about Japanese and Mediterranean diets as well. If the core of your diet doesn't have some semblense of the government food pyramid (now some sort of plate diagram) then the diet probably isn't that good. If you want to shed pounds at least do yourself the favor of doing it smart, not harming yourself. There are no quick fixes to weight loss but TONS of scammers making money off idiots willing to hand over their money on the belief there is such a thing.

My guess is you are retaining water so maybe you are bloated or your body feels dehydrated and is holding on to water to compensate. Try 1/2 ounce per pound of body weight if you're not active (that's ten eight-ounce glasses if you weigh 160 pounds), and 2/3 ounce per pound if you're athletic (13 to 14 glasses a day, at the same weight).

what does it involve? eating nothin but lemons? hon, even if you do lose weight this way you'll never maintain it coz its not like you can spend the rest of your life drinking lemon juice and maple syrup and when you sart eating other things, your body will not be used to it and wont be able to digest it and it will turn into fat....try this diet that i used to go from 132 pounds to 115 pounds and I'm 5'7.5: Breakfast: - 1 piece raisin toast - 1 cup milk (i drank full cream because i dont like skim but try skim) - 1 apple (pink lady) Morning Tea: - 1 cucumber - 1 orange Lunch - 1 salad pita pocket (small size - wholemeal) (pita is really very healthy, much healthier than bread) - you can put low fat tuna in the pocket too and a dab of butter won't do you bad either Afternoon Tea - 1 handful almonds and walnuts - 1 other piece of fruit (i did another orange) Dinner: - 1 serve of whatever was made (no rice) Dessert: - i didnt really eat dessert but when i did, i ate an apple and with this diet, i lost about 1-2 pounds a week which was really good and you actually maintain it....and now i eat practically all i want (within reason) and dont put on any weight! try it! and i went from an Australian size 10 to an Australian size 7 which is normally as low as they go..
