i have this problem that i can't pass stools properly.. even normally or whenever i eat at a party or at a wedding.. i pass very litlle or no stools the next morning.. i've tried various foodstufs to improve digestion n also had some tablets that help clean the intestines for a few weeks but all in vain.. when i go to the loo.. i feel like i want to excrete.. but i can't.. donno why.. as a result my wasteline is increasing.. i have a big tummy even thro rest of my body is not all that fat .. wat do u think should be the reason for this ? is my digestive system not digesting the food i eat ? where does all wat i eat go ? do i need to go in for certain tests to check my digestive system ?? plz advice...

What causes diverticulitis?
Doctors aren't sure what causes diverticulitis. But they think that a low-fiber diet may play a role. Without fiber to add bulk to the stool, the colon has to work harder than normal to push the stool forward. The pressure from this may cause pouches to form in weak spots along the colon.
Diverticulitis happens when bacteria get trapped in the pouches. This can lead to inflammation or infection.
What are the symptoms?
Symptoms of diverticulitis may last from a few hours to a week or more. Symptoms include:
Belly pain, usually in the lower left side, that is sometimes worse when you move. This is the most common symptom.
Fever and chills.
Bloating and gas.
Diarrhea or constipation.
Nausea and sometimes vomiting.
Not feeling like eating.

I would make an appointment with a Gastoenterologist (not sure on the spelling there lol) and they should be able to tell you what is wrong. It could be you're just not getting enough fiber in your diet which makes it hard for you to pass your stool.

The natural laxative is prune juice but make sure you're near a toilet after you take it.
If you have the runs guava nectar will firm your stool.
Your doctor is your last option.

Big tummy and thin limbs..check ur blood glucose (sugar) level.
Have more dietary fibers(available in green leafy vegetables.this will solve ur defecation problem.regards.
