shortly after a workout have some sort of high bioavailable protein with nutrients that help enable the utilization of proteins in your system(usually whey but not the cheap stuff). also something with a high glycemic index(like grape juice) to boost your insulin after a workout which helps drive animo acids into your muscles. although pineapples are high-medium, i prefer them because pineapples repair damaged cells after workouts.
coz after workout muscle needs energy. take it right after u finish ur work out max time 10 min to take protein after workout
half an hour before gives you a good kick of energy, half an hour or so after helps rebuild the worked muscles. personally i always take it after a gym session
