Biotin alone is not going to do that for your hair, that's like have a car and not use gas. You need all the healthy foods from Mother Nature, not just biotin. Do you know what's in the biotin?

The less products you use, the better for your skin. Use a bath & body wash like Suave, Irish Spring, Dove Body & Face wash in the shower, use a washcloth. Treat your face like the rest of your body, take a shower everyday or wash your face everyday.
The secret is keeping your face clean and oil-free. I also don't use liquid on my face for anything, and very little moisturizer, not even a dime size. Since my face is not dry. Good skin also comes from your good genes. Increase your fresh fruits & vegetables 3-5 servings per day. And programmed your mind to do this day after day, for the rest of your life.
The beauty industry is a billion dollar business, they know acne is everyone's problem, but instead of saying soap is drying for you, they have to invent an acne product that can worsen the skin as MANY TEENAGERS have experienced during hormonal change, but as you get older those are completely a waste of time & money!
Sometimes just the oil on your face from make up and lotions, even from your hair can travel to your face causing acne to come out. Others, from stress, hormones & diet or foods.

It is true that Biotin can cause breakouts, but it varies. I'm 16 and I took one 2500 MCG Biotin capsule, and within about 3 or 4 hours I noticed my skin starting to breakout with several red bumps on my face. But friend of mine has been taking Biotin for several years with no problems at all. The only way you'll really be able to tell is if you try it. It could take a few hours for you to breakout, or a few days. Or you just won't breakout at all. If you do breakout, just discontinue your use of it and your skin will clear up within a few days. So yes there is a chance that your can get a breakout, but there's no way to really know unless you try it. If you try it and you do breakout though, don't panic. It will clear up quickly after you stop using it. I've heard that if you drink a lot of water, you won't/are less likely to breakout. I'm not big on drinking water as frequently as I should so that may have contributed to my problem. I also heard that taking other vitamins like B-complex (I think that's what it's called) along with Biotin create some sort of balance so that you won't breakout. But you might want to do a little research on that. Good luck! :)
