Question: im tall and thin 6'1 120lbs but my arms are a little flabby, http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/ i want to get thinner arms, i have some muscle underneath, and if i lose the fat i could look more cut, here is me

I'm not trying to be insulting so please don't take this the wrong way. You are malnutritioned. This will have serious effects on how your body metabolises food and especially fats and sugars. What this basically means is that your body is more than likely in starvation mode and will be looking to store fats and sugars but will burn muscle fibre for it's calorific value. This is not a good place to be. You should consider seeing a doctor for a tailored plan to get your body-fat percentage to a healthy level, then, and only then, you should look to do high resistance weight training to build the muscle bulk combined with cardio work to stay lean. If you know how you got to this stage, then you can take a serious look at remedies. If, however, this was not caused by an eating disorder, then a doctor needs to investigate what has caused this weight-loss. Looking cut/ripped/shredded is fine but you do not have the muscle structure to show off.

What!? I'm all waiting for some chubby person, instead I see someone who makes ME feel fat. Haha and the zumba fitness is WAY more effective, it can burn up to 700 calories per hour

Oh, they aren't "too fat" They just have a little on them, that's all. They aren't fat though, for sure. However, they could be a little more toned. That way, they shrink a little bit and the weight from your arms is a teansy weansy bit of healthy chub and muscle. That's the way to go. To tone them, lift weights! Do maybe 10-20 pounds, depending on how strong you are. I'll leave that up to you. Try to lift them as many times as you can. Do this daily, or if you get really really sore, then you can skip a day or two to sort of recover a bit. But if you are soar, that means that you are getting stronger!! If you aren't the weight-lifting kind of person, then running helps too. Run around the neighborhood or around the sidewalks of streets and make sure to PUMP YOUR ARMS. If you get bored of doing this, bring an Ipod if you have one, that way it's not such a chore. Do that everyday, and you will get the same results as lifting weights, only at the same time your legs are getting stronger, too! I hope all goes well for you!! -Natalie

Unfortunately, weight loss often does not work that way - you cannot selectively lose weight off only one part of your body. Instead, when you lose weight, it comes off (generally) as a whole - this is also dependent on where your fat deposits are located. As a side note, look more to what foods you're intaking rather than exercise.

Dude no offence but you're really skinny, it doesn't look like your arms are fat at all, but if you want to lose fat then my advice is to do plenty of cardio, do workouts on treadmills and excercise bikes. Good luck.

You can do different exercise to keep out your bored...some times you can do exercise like jogging,swimming and others Some times you can do other exercise like doing gym.Then you will not get bored..If you really wanted to lose your weight,you can set a time to do exercise.. http://the--exercise.blogspot.com/
