Today i started my new weight loss plan, eating only fruit, kellogs sustan, rice cakes, and one healthy snack. And i eat dinner as normal. I have Wii Fit Plus, and am trying to do at least 30 minutes training everyday. I also have a manual tredmill, i am planing to do at least 10 minutes on there aswell. If i keep this up everyday, will i loose weight? by the way, i am a 13 year old male. Please help me, i want to be normal weight like my friends! (-:

** You should try drinking 8 to 16 ounces of water before each meal, this will fill you up and you will eat less, resulting in less calories at every meal. Weight loss pills are not very safe, at least water is safe. I know it may be hard at first to drink water, but you can add more and more everyday until it becomes easier, ( you will get used to it. I lost 50 pounds in three years and kept them off , I also walk for 30 minutes at least 5 times a week. Patience is needed,, if you want quick, this is not it, better to lose slowly than too fast (not healthy for your body) Well good luck too you, hope this helps.
P.S. I also think that the younger you are the faster you will lose weight, 50 years and up will take longer.
First come first it is always better to consult some expert before deciding upon a diet plan for yourself or you can also join some health and wellness center.If you really want to reduce weight you should undertake natural methods. I think you should join the health center Fresh Start as there sessions are also starting from August 2010. There natural methods of detoxification will definitely help you out in reducing weight as well as lead a healthy lifestyle.

First, you should consult your doctor before you start any diet or fitness routine.
Second, you should sit down and define your goals. What do you want to see and feel at the end of the day? Without a focused game plan, you will be running around in circles. Or worse yet, not experiencing any progress and hurting yourself unnecessarily.
Third, eat a balanced meal with protein and complex carbs everyday. Eat smaller meals six times a day. It's not important to be full, it's important not to be hungry. Eat you biggest meal in the morning and go from there. Drink about 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. Avoid junk like pills and whatever snake oil is out there. However, VERY IMPORTANT, do your homework by seeking out experts in the field of diet and nutrition before you begin. Get educated and expert advice from experts before you start anything.
Fourth, in terms of the Wii Fit, my best advice for you is to go to your local video gaming rental store and rent out a few games first. Try out a few titles to see what Wii Fit game or routine fits you best. There are a lot of Wii based fitness games with routines that could get you just as fit as your local gym or health club. There is no one size fits all routine.
Lastly, it's said that slow and steady wins the race. Treat this as a change in lifestyle and not a short term strategy to lose a few pounds for whatever reason. Think about the rest of your life and not the short term time of some event. You're 13 and your body is still developing. Don't panic and rush yourself. You're going to grow a lot better by simply taking care of yourself a little better.
Forget your friends - and the silly haters that will turn out to mean nothing at the end of the day - and focus on growing into the person you want to be.

Do 30-45 minutes on the treadmill and throw in a few veggies and you've got a better chance. Keep in mind that, because you are 13, you're growing. It sounds bogus, but you do get a bit wider before you get a bit taller, so if it's just a little extra weight, don't sweat it too much. However, it's always a good idea to keep in shape.
Stick to the plan and keep a positive outlook and you will reach your goals. Good luck!

Jullian Michaels 30 Day Shred. It is about $10 at Walmart. It will get you in shape faster than you believe possible. You're going to pretty much die the first couple of days, but worry not! The workouts are only 20 minutes long. They have an easy version and a hard version. You should also consider getting some 2 or 3 pound weights to aid. By day 6, you'll notice a dramatic change in your endurance and will feel really good! After 30, you're going to be amazed at how far you've come. Keep it up and don't get discouraged!
