First of all, I would be very thankful for horse racing because it puts millions of dollar into the state. Second, it groups the U.S.'s greatest 3 year olds and race them against each other. Its equivalent to the Super Bowl in football to racing fans.

Man I wish, that would be great!! I think if we win out we'll be going to either the Cap One or the Cotton Bowl. Either of which would be great. The loss to Miss St killed our chances of a BCS bid. And to anyone, Thomas, who thinks that the Cats wouldn't bring an enormous following to a bowl game let me give one example of what real Cat fans will do to cheer on their team; my wedding anniversary is 12/31 and I plan on celebrating this years the same way I did last years, Following the Cat's to wherever they go and watching them whoop some a$$! GO BIG BLUE!!!

In a word TRADITION. In another word HISTORY. Churchill Downs officially opened in 1875. And, The Kentucky Derby is held r every consecutive year on the first Saturday in May at Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY. Like anything of interest, it could be ones cup of tea or not. Regardless, the Horse Racing Industry is huge, so those interested in the Kentucky Derby celebrate the first Saturday in May. It also attracts visitors from around the world, which is good for our economy too.. :) To learn more on why the Kentucky Derby is such a big deal, here's a link to check out it's Traditon and History- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kentucky_De...

Miracle Miracle
It's all the pageantry, the big hats and celebrities that add to the excitement of watching the best of the best give it their best. The Kentucky Derby has been dubbed the "most exciting two minutes" in all of sports; not just horse-racing........all sports. I don't know if you are the only one in Kentucky who doesn't worship horses, I don't live there, but I'll tell you as an outsider that the Derby sure does beat the elected politicians of your state..........by a long shot.

It's animal abuse at its finest. I don't think most people are aware.... is there a way we can promote awareness and get the message out to stop brutally butchering, and abusing these magnificent animals?

Lilly Originally Answered: What is the big deal about NuPhedrine?
Well the "big deal" is that it has TWO natural appetite suppressants, both of which have been used for hundreds of years and proven to work (Hoodia & Slimaluma) plus a natural fat burner (Advantra z). Back in the day I used Ephedra & liked it but this is even better because Nuphedrine does not make my heart race or anything but gives me energy. I did a lot of research on it before buying and liked that it has proven/patented ingredients. Good for workouts and weight loss. Another good one is Slim 10, it has some of the same ingredients, but its the Nuphedrine that really gets me gooing.
