Question: So, I know it depends on your body, and I've always had naturally above average breasts. Now, I'm not looking to lose weight instantly, or bulk up on muscle, and I've already gotten 15 lbs gone, but in my opinion it's just water weight.. I have muscle built from years past, and no muffin top or anything, but A smaller waist size would be nicer. I'm not obese- 5' 8" and 160 , but I'd like to really lose some more. My only worry stems from stories I've seen and heard of how so much of the extra fatty tissue in breasts is lost- Can I prevent this through pilates or some exercises? Because I'm not looking to drop major pounds, but I can't help but hope to keep these curves I've come to love!

That depends on genetics. Target weight loss is impossible, so you can't decide where you want to lose weight. When you lose weight, it gets spread evenly across your body. So yes your breasts will shrink if you lose some weight, but that's just minor. You're not blind, you can see if they're getting "too" small, so you can just stop losing weight at any time. You shouldn't worry so much. Nothing drastic will happen to your body. Besides, weight gain is also spread evenly across your body. So you can reverse any changes you've made by eating more.

Hey Harley, Breasts are basically just fat, so if you lose weight you'll lose fat from all over, and almost inevitably that means your breasts too. Will they sag? Well, I don't know your age or what shape you're in already, but it's possible. However - 5-10lbs is not a lot, and so I would be surprised if you noticed a big difference. By the way, for your height your weight sounds good to me, an your figure sounds like curvy perfection - if you want to lose the weight fine, but I hope you don't do anything daft! :) Oh, and a final word - breasts the size of yours are not supposed to be completely immune to gravity you know, and if they do sag a bit I promise you it's not a big deal. Unfortunately us women store weight on our boobs and hips so follows the more weight we lose the less boobs and hips. Personally I think a little weight is more attractive than than being too slim and having a boyish physique. It's good to have some curves and you sound just fine as you are.
