June 17, 2019 / By Ackerlea Question:
okay, so i'm a 15 year old girl. i'm 5'4'', 145 pounds, and looking to lose weight. this is my plan so far. please tell me what you think or how i can improve it.
breakfast: 1 bowl of special K cereal with 2% milk, and a cup of natural applesauce (i don't like fruit or veggies, so i try and get my nutritional values in with applesauce and V8)
lunch: 1 peanut butter crispy rice bar, and another cup of applesauce
snack: 10 cal sugar free jell-O, non salted 40 cal rice cake
dinner varies but its usually either chicken or pork with pasta roni or mashed potatoes.
i drink a lot of water through out the day, probably like 5 bottles, and i run 1 mile and brisk walk 1 mile about 3 times a week at the gym. i'm not very good at pushing myself or sticking to diets/exercise plans, so please help me with what has helped you!

Fad diets, starvation diets, fasting, gimmicky weight loss devices, and diet pills do not work. Any diet that is temporary will only produce results that are temporary at best.
Losing fat any faster than about 4 lbs a week is impossible. Any additional weight you might lose would either be water weight, or your muscle atrophying.
The only way to lose fat is a complete lifestyle change where you stop doing what made you obese in the first place and adopt healthy eating and exercise habits for the rest of your life, such as:
1. Eat about 6 small complete meals throughout the day (fish, almonds, walnuts, and lean proteins in general, plenty of raw fruits and vegetables, and complex multigrain carbohydrates) spaced out about every 2-3 hours. Consume between 1500-2500 calories a day.
2. Do NOT starve yourself, do NOT binge eat.
3. Be as active as you can; nothing to do for 10 minutes? Knock out 10 push-ups.
4. Eat some spicy foods; take a decent amount of vitamin C, and drink between a half-gallon and a whole gallon of WATER a day. Avoid anything deep-fried, white bread, sprinkles, and any refined sugar.
5. No more soda. Ever.
6. If you do drink coffee, drink it black.
7. Do at least 35 minutes of cardio straight at least once a day, at least three times a week, more if you are not trying to put on muscle.
8. Do a large amount of full body exercises whenever possible (Jumping Jacks, Pull-ups, Chin ups, dips, squats, hanging leg raises, hanging knee raises, back raises, glute ham raises, burpees)
9. Get at least 6 hours of sleep a night, but no more then 9.
10. Here is the most important part: STICK TO IT!

You may think right now about looking good involves COMPLETELY with the scale... but let me tell you that's the exact opposite. You could skip a meal, weigh yourself, and see that you've dropped 2-3 lbs. That's muscle and water weight (NOT FAT). Measure your body parts that you want to lose weight from (belly, thighs, arms). Use that to record everything. Maybe 3-4 times a week weigh yourself, but don't make it a complete continuous thing. The workout plan seems like it'll work. Eat between 1,500-1,700 calories a day and drink tons of water and make sure you get your vitamins, fiber and calcium. ALSO, stop eating AT LEAST 3 hrs. before bed. You'll definitely see a difference.
Best of luck =)

Sounds like a good diet. But try...
1) 1% milk. The taste difference between 2% and 1% is not much.
2) incorporate a snack between breakfast and lunch, like a V8 and a couple reduced fat crackers.
3) you can also eat a larger lunch , this way you would be able to replace dinner with a meal replacement drink.
4) if you get a little hungry before bed just pop about 6 or 7 wheat thins and drink some water to wash it down for that "not so hungry" feeling.

Losing weight is challenging, so don't waste your efforts by using the wrong diet plan. I used to be very overweight. I would try different diets and all sorts of things. Eventually I learned through my trial and error, how to spot a real healthy weight loss diet plan that will work and is easy to stick with. Through my experience, I have learned exactly what to look for when choosing a healthy weight loss diet plan. Before you begin any weight loss plan, find out if others have had real results using the diet, and make sure the person who created it is qualified to teach you. I about to show you exactly how to do this so you can finally find a a great healthy weight loss diet plan, and actually stick with it.
Another tip that can save you lots of wasted time and effort is make sure the Author is someone who knows what they are talking about. Find out the author has any qualifications to be teaching you how to lose weight. A good clue that you have found a really good healthy weight loss diet plan is if the program is written by a certified personal trainer. It is very likely that a diet created by someone who has put in the grueling effort to become a certified personal trainer will know what they are talking about, and can help you achieve the body you deserve.
When you find a diet you are interested in, try and see if other people have had real results using it. If other people are having success with it, then it is a good bet you will too. One thing you must look out for is people using fake before and after pictures. They are very easy to spot. The key is to make sure you can see their faces in the pictures or it is probably a scam. If the face is blurred, look for tattoos or birthmarks to determine if the pictures are of the same person. You want to find a healthy weight loss diet plan that many people have used and is proven successful. Also find out and read reviews of other people have used the diet, and see if they had good results.. A good thing to look for is before and after pictures that actually show the person face. If you see before and after pictures that don't show the person's face, then they may be fake so why waste your time, and take a chance on it when you can try a diet with real before after pics?
Finding a healthy weight loss diet plan that will work doesn't have to be hard just remember to make sure the diet's author is qualified to be giving out advice also look for reviews of the product and make sure other people have had good results with it before you start. You want a healthy weight loss diet plan that has worked for others. If you see a diet showing before and after pictures without showing the person's face, then the pictures may be fake so don't waste your trying a shady diet when you can try a diet with real before after pics.
Use these tips and you will achieve your fat loss goals much faster because you will be using a healthy weight loss diet plan that is proven to work.
