No carb diets work by making your body malnourished so it breaks down fat to get nutrition it needs. This is very hard on your body since your body normally uses carbs for energy. As soon as you go back to eating normally, you will gain it back, and more as your body thinks it was deprived so packs on the fat to protect against the next time.
Instead of eliminating carbs, switch to whole grains and cut back on how many carbs you eat. Increase the amount of fresh fruits and veggies you eat. Carbs should be 25-30% of your diet. This is the same as your lean protein. Fresh fruits and veggies should be the other half, the largest portion of what you eat. An easy way to do this is divide your plate into quarters. First fill half with fruits and veggies. The other quarters are the lean protein and whole grain. Have just one piece of bread for a sandwich instead of 2. Also, don't snack on things like chips, cookies, pretzels, or crackers. Have fruits or cut veggies instead.
The reason carbs get the bad rep is people tend to overeat them and eat the wrong type of carbs. Not all carbs are the same. Whole grains have fiber in them which helps fill you up and keep you full longer than plain white ones, so you eat less overall. Plus, many white carb products have a lot of added sugars and fats which adds calories.
Drink just plain water, black coffee, or unsweet tea. However, if you want fastest results in 2 weeks, just stick to water. Many people fail to take into account the calories in the things they drink. Even no calorie diet drinks are still bad for you because they are nothing but unhealthy, chemical cocktails. If you like juice, have the fruit instead. This will save you a lot of calories and give you fiber.

Most important is to eat a BALANCED diet. You can cut back on carbs, but don't eliminate them completely. Instead, go for whole grains and not the processed flour products. Look for products high in fiber - they'll keep you filled up.
Increase your protein and vegetable intake, and cut back your fats, but again, don't eliminate them completely. Your body needs foods from all food groups including fats to function properly. Drink plenty of water. Water helps your body use foods and fats more efficiently.
A good tip is to shop the perimeter of the grocery store and skip the aisles. The food around the edges of the store are generally the least processed and the most healthy for you. Avoid drinks with high fructose corn syrup, and don't buy snacks and goodies that you will find tempting, even if there are other people in your house. They can have their goodies elsewhere, but at home, they need to support you by not eating tempting things in front of you.
Equally important is portion control. Just because it's fat free doesn't mean it's good for you. In fact, it's better to have a small serving of full fat ice cream to satisfy a craving than it us to eat half a carton of non fat ice cream. It won't satisfy you. Also, overloading on fruits and veggies won't help. You need to learn to eat the correct amounts, so start measuring. A digital kitchen scale can be very helpful for this.
Excercise at least 30 minutes 3x a week. Diet and exercise is really the best combination for losing weight properly and keeping it off. Losing slow, but steady will help your keep it off - crash diets are never any good for you and you almost always gain the weight back.
I highly recommend the South Beach diet. Phase 1 elminates all carbs and is a VERY hard phase to get through so you may need to modify it. But it is a good way to learn how to eat and that's another important point. You need to make a lifestyle change and not just go on a diet for lasting change.
Combining diet and exercise should help you lose 2-3 lbs per week, on average. You don't want to lose much more than that because it would be water weight that would very easily come back. Don't get too discouraged by getting on the scale all the time. As you exercise, your body builds muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat, but takes up less space. So you may only weigh 10 lbs less than you did before, but you'll drop 2 pants sizes. It's best to use the scale sparingly and track your progress through the fit of your clothes and your feelings of health in general.
Don't get discouraged if you feel you're not losing fast enough. Make up your mind that you want to make a change and do something every day to work towards your goals. Make small changes and build on them - don't make one radical change after another becuase it's too hard to sustain them. Pick one thing you KNOW you can do for a week - like drinking more water, or skipping dessert, and do it. The next week, pick an new thing you know you can do, and do that in addition to your previous new healthy habit. Keep building on those habits and make them a real lifestyle change.
Reward yourself for reaching milestones or goals, but never, never, never with food. If you meet your exercise goals, buy yourself a new CD or a nail polish. If you've lost 5 lbs, treat yourself to a new pair of earrings.
Good luck and hang in there. I read something by Dr. Phil that makes a lot of sense. "A year from now, you can be the weight you are, or you can be the weight you want to be. You're the one that decides which one it is, and you make those changes every day."
You basically eat a lot of chicken and veggies. Fiber is extremely important and protein is too if you completely cut out carbs. It's pretty difficult to keep them out of your diet, though. Every other food has some carbohydrates in them. Your body needs carbs for energy. However, just keeping your carb intake under 30 grams a day, your body will go into a weight loss mode. All in all, if you are burning more calories than you take in you will lose weight no matter what.

I took a nutrition class and have a personal trainer, so please listen. You need carbs to live. We get our energy from them. Carbs that make yu fat are simple carbs like sugar example the carbs in soda. Complex carbs are very good and give you energy they are found in pasta and whole wheat bread. My advice is to cut out unhealthy carbs from cakes and soda ect. But keep eating pasta or bread ect in moderations. If you want to loose weight eat a balanced meal check out my food pyramid. And just burn more calories then you eat, so I suggest calorie counting. You cant lose a significant amount of weight in that time , but you can tone up a bit and if you keep at it in the long run you'll loose weight. Good luck.

This seems counterintuitive, yet you want to be eating extra. you want to be eating 5-6 circumstances an afternoon. continually devour protein and complicated carbohydrates on your breakfast (some thing like an egg white omelette with vegetables in it, or a complicated boiled egg and some oatmeal). you need to be snacking midmorning besides as mid-afternoon. Your snack might want to correctly be some thing from some nuts and dried fruit to an apple or orange, see you later because that's both protein or a mixture of protein and complicated carb). Lunch you need to be having some grilled chicken, tuna salad, or a medium sized salad. i take advantage of little or no dressing, if any on mine, yet i'm no longer a large dressing human being. once you're snacking all day, you received't bypass overboard at dinner. Dinner might want to correctly be salad and/or lean meat with vegetables, complicated rice, or some thing of the like. The extra end result and vegetables you devour, the further useful. they're instantly fiber and supplements. Drink water all day lengthy. The extra water you drink, the further useful (as a lot as a particular element). Water works as a organic detox agent. also, once you're in straight forward words 185 pounds, there'll in straight forward words be a particular volume of weight you lose earlier you plateau. Your body has a "organic" weight at which that's maximum gentle, or perhaps as it receives to that element, it makes it plenty harder to lose any extra. also, counting on how a lot weight you're lifting, you received't get less than a particular weight, as muscle weighs better than fat. you'll initiate weighing extra, yet you'd be getting slimmer and extra toned. that's merely what occurs. do merely not shrink your calorie intake too a lot because you'll initiate gaining weight and holding fat and water, because your body will bypass into "starvation" mode. wish this helps!

Find an alternative stress-reliever. When you’ve had a poor day, don’t reach for the doughnuts – locate a new coping mechanism that works available for you, not against you. Listening for your favourite album, looking at family pics on Facebook, or just getting out your front door for a walk will provide help to focus on the positives.

the best answer is telling you it works by making your body malnourished? Wow, pretty uninformed answer.
You deprive yourself of sugars, it puts your body into kitosis which is a fat burning state.
You really think eating chicken breast and green beans is going to hurt your body?

You seem very detailed on your workout and diet plan. That is great. I would recommend quality over quantity. The most effective way of exercise is using free weights and circuit training. Here are some tips on diet and exercise. You can try it if you wish.
As for diet, try eating 6 smaller meals a day with a protein shake for breakfast and lunch. A single serving of fruit for mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack. Dinner should be a sensible meal- minimize rice and breads. Try this for a two-week period. Then, vary your meals accordingly.
Workouts should have weights and circuit type of training. Free weights are great for toning and weight-loss. You can try dumbbell squats with shoulder presses. Here is a great and effective circuit training using a treadmill. Walk for 2 minutes (as a warm-up), jog for 2 minutes, run hard for a minute, then jog for 2 minutes, run hard for a minute, etc...do this for about 20-23 minutes. This works great.
By the way, do not be a slave to scale. Check the mirror also. It will show results.
This is just a start. Keep working out and eating properly.
