Im 13 years old 5"1 and 130lbs. I feel I need to lose weight. I need some good exersize and health plans that will get me to a good weight before summer. (So I dont look stupid in a bathing suit). Right now I barely eat breakfeast and lunch and I eat a light snack(usually a very small bowl of lays chips) and I eat dinner. Please help.
P.S. I dont care how people see me. Its a personal reason to lose weight.

I do have a diet that you can follow. I tried it myself and I went from 122 pounds to 106 pounds in 2 months. I'll tell you exactly what I did. When you get up, have something like a bowl of cereal, or a big cup of milk and a granola bar. After that, around lunch, before eating lunch actually have one big glass of water. I don't mean a medium sized glass, more like the largest glass in your pantry. The water shouldn't be super-cold though, just mildly cold. After drinking that glass of water, you'll find that you seem a bit full, now fill whatever appetite you have with your lunch. Here you can have something like peanut butter sandwich on whole weat bread, or an orange. Stay away from things like muffins. It's even better if you have some kind of soup for lunch. I found the perfect soup to lose weight, I call it my mom's miracle soup! This has to be homemade, contain all vegetables, and you can add in strip pieces of boiled chicken breast. You can also put in an egg in the soup, just break the egg into it actually (when the water is boiling), no need to boil or fry it beforehand (especially not frying!), you can also add carrots, peas, corn (from a pack of frozen veggies) and broccoli, fava beans, green pepper, green beans and zucchini. Keep boiling this for a bit, until the veggies become kind of soft. Now add the boiled chicken's stalk and tear up the chicken into strips and add it in. Now it's all cooked You can also add in a bit of vinegar (to your plate separately, not in the soup) a dash of salt (and I mean one little dash, that's it), a bit of red chilli powder and soya sauce to make it a bit tasty. You can have this soup for lunch, and when dinner comes around, drink that big glass of water again before dinner, and then have a big bowl of soup. Whatever appetite you have left, you can have a dinner of your liking, like a handful of rice with some curry. The point is to fill yourself with water and the veggies and chicken from the soup to then have only a bit of space left for dinner that tends to cause you to gain weight.
One more thing about water. Don't have water at least 1 hour after eating dinner, and don't have any half an hour before going to bed. I used to weigh 122 pounds and my waist was about 30. Now I weigh 106 (after eating dinner) and my waist is a 26.5 inches. It takes some willpower and people asked me if I starved myself or something. But I still had my one little chocolate treat before going to bed, a cookie somedays (not everyday), and I didn't starve myself. Again this may not be as quick as you want it to be, but it's a surefire plan. Please try it and let me know if it worked for you or not. I suggest you make a whole bunch of soup at once, and store it in the fridge, whenever you're hungry, just get yourself some of that, instead of eating foods filled with carbs, as I would usually do before. 2 hours before going to bed, have a cup of milk with a cookie for example. Also, it helps if you walk alot, I don't mean running or jogging (I hate running :P) or even joining a gym; just do about 40 minutes of walking during the day, fast paced, slow paced, whatever suits you.
I reallly hope that you get the confidence you need and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Now if only I could find something to get me thicker hair and stop the premature greying. Still working on those. We all have problems don't we? :)

i really understand that you get annoyed about these tips as cut out junk food and excersise , hah.
But this is what you should do :
make sure that while you are losing weight that you are eating healthy , and make sure that it isnt WATER WEIGHT which you lose , cause thats just bad and when you begin too eat normally you will gain weight super fast. So dont starve yourself.
but this is what you should do , you should eat only when your hungry , ( when your stomach wants food ) and when you eat , dont eat very much.
cause what counts is calories. Calories will is the thing that makes you gain and lose weight , right ?
Too little calories for your body will eventually make you lose weight , and too much calories for your body will make you gain weight in the long run.
1 ) Eat only when hungry , and dont eat big portions just because your hungry.
2 ) Avoid foods containing alot calories ( if its not healthy food ) if its healthy i really doubt it contain so much calories , but still.
3 ) Keep up excersising , and if your only excersising because you want to lose weight then you should do excersises that make you lose weight not that only makes you gain muscles , which will lead to weight gain.
4 ) Drink very much water.
something i heard just.. 5) drink 2-3 big cups of Green tea per day or every other day, it will take away some Stomach fat. and other fat i think. but i only heard stomach fat.

I determined the guide to be very informative and convenient to learn. I've misplaced 17 kilos in 12 days, I'm simply worried that I'm wasting an excessive amount of weight, too swiftly. I will admit I have not adopted the consultant precisely. I'm now not sticking flawlessly to the indexed meals and meal plans (however generally) and doing little or no undertaking, however the weight continues flying off. It certainly works and if I'd adopted it precisely I suppose it could scare the dwelling daylights out of me since of the volume that I'd lose. So thank you once more for the knowledge. Start walking as much as you can and as quickly as you can. That will burn fat quickly. Also start thinking about what kinds of food keep you full for long. For example eggs. Then you try to eat more of that and less of the other stuff that makes you feel hungry.
You are too young to worry about weight, but if you must do it in an enjoyable way. Do things that you love and eat things that you like in moderation. Good luck. Remember, besides being skinny the type of bathing suit that you wear will also make you look fat/thin so choose the cut that suites your body type.

Your most likely not eating enough. If your body thinks it's starving, your metabolism will shut down, and your body will store fat. It's a survival tecnique your body has.
What you need to do, is keep active, exersize at least 30 min. a day, and eat lean protien (chicken or turkey are a start) lots of veggies., some fruit, some whole grains (rye bread, etc. ) and cut out the white sugar products.
The next step..........is to be confident. Don't worry about what other people think of your body. None of them matter. Be happy with who you are, and what you look like, because in the end the only one that matters, is you!

The best way to lose weight is just to make healthy swaps with your eating habits. For example, if you're someone that drinks sugary fizzy drinks, swap them for fizzy water mixed with sugar free cordial. If you have whole milk on your cereal, swap it for skim. This way you can cut calories but you're not neccesarily going to feel a great deal hungrier. A good diet for losing weight would be like this:
40g of light cereal (rice krispies, all bran, special K, cocopops) with 200ml skimmed milk
Fat free yogurt
Wholemeal wrap filled with chicken, vegetables and light mayonnaise
Light crisps (such as snack a jacks, quavers, watsits)
Healthy choice cereal bar
Handful of nuts, seeds and dried fruit
Chicken stirfry made with noodles, vegetables and black bean sauce
Small srving of frozen yogurt
You could also try fitting in small 10 minute breaks of physical activity every day so that it isn't too daunting and doesnt make you want to never exercise for the rest of your life. You could also try doing things that get you moving more too such as cleaning, shopping, ice skating.
