I have been on hcg and b-12 along with the Simeons protocol(500 cal) for 12 days and have lost 14 lbs from the places I wanted to lose.
This regimen is not for the faint at heart. It works, you won't be hungry, but it is boring. It's working for me.You must drink 2 liters of water per day.
Side effects? Well, I had a moody PMS, and I am a bit tired, but not unusually so. A few headaches at the beginning. Sometimes in the morning if I do too much before having a piece of fruit I get a bit dizzy. That's it for side effects. And NO HUNGER. I kid you not..I forgot to finish my grapefruit. Now imagine forgetting to eat if you are only allowed 500 calories per day??!!!!
Hope this helps.

My friend did them and she lost a crazy amount of weight....like 20 pounds. You are only allowed to eat 500 cals a day though, and I think once she went off the shots the weight came back because she ate like normal. You also have to give yourself a shot in the *** every single day. Yikes! Do some research online. I personally think it's better in the long run to lose the weight through diet and exercise.
degrease by scrubbing in the shower for 15 minutes then spend 7 minutes shaving 3 minutes toweling off 4 minutes moisturizing and 20 minutes blow drying and styling your hair

I had RNY gastric bypass surgery in 2006. It was the best gift I ever gave myself. I've documented my weight loss surgery journey on my blog www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.com you are welcome to check that out. Also may I suggest finding a bariatric surgery seminar (hosted by surgeon's offices/ask your primary care Dr) in your area. They are usually held once or twice a month and they detail all the current weight loss surgery methods, talk about which one might or might not be right for you, the pros and cons of each.
Here's some basic info that might help: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/p/links.html
Best wishes in your research.
