Question: I'm a 15 year old girl, 5'5" around 109 lbs trying to drop 10 lbs within the next few months (more would be good, but 10 is just my goal for now). Will I lose weight if I eat about 1300 calories a day (of super healthy food), walk 8-10 miles daily, do aerobics for a half hour every day and do weight training twice a week? and how fast will I lose weight on this plan? thanks :) actually jac- I've been walking 8-10 miles everyday for the past week and it really doesn't take that much time. And I feel energetic as ever :)

For one, you're already too thin for your height, so you're ignorant for trying to lose weight. And two, 8-10 miles, do you realize just how long that would take you? For a reference point, it takes about 20 minutes just to complete one mile, so you'd be walking all day. You'll lose weight for a few days, but do to lack of nutrition and too much exercise , you'll be too weak to do anything. This is not a smart and healthy work out plan. You're too young to be losing weight anyways.

I think your second month and on idea sounds good. Although the first month is not horrible either. It is possible to eat whatever you want and lose weight as long as you control portion sizes and exercise which you seem committed to do. Seems like a pretty fail-proof plan to me.

you shouldnt lose weight, you're at a realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll... good weight. Depends how many calories you eat now and how much of that stuff you already do. Someone who eats 2000 calories and walks 1-2 miles a day, and doesnt do aerobics or weight training will see faster results then someone who eats 1500 and what not, get me? But seriously, you are at a good weight. And if you weight train, you're going to gain weight (muscle) and muscle weighs more than fat. A more realistic goal would be to get your Body fat measured, and decrease that amount. Some scales have it, and there are other types of things that can measure it that you can buy off like ebay or amazon. hope it helps!

I'm sure you don't need to lose that much weight, but you probably want to lose some flab (like me -_-) So don't over work your muscles and stick with 1 mile ,some crunches and not too much healthy food if you don't want to eat it! The best way to trim down is to exercise daily, have a BALANCED diet, and plenty of sleep. Good Luck, and be careful how much weight you lose!(You are on a good percentile of a 15 year old thats 5'5" )

Nothing works similarly for each person. I have indexed beneath, a few of my possess approaches. Only you understand how your frame works, so you are going to must layout your possess plan. But, one fo the principal matters to bear in mind: DO NOT USE THE WORD DIET. You shall be mechanically telling your mind that you're depriving your self and can best expand your wish to consume. one million. Cut again on everyday calorie and carb consumption. (My weak spot used to be the carbs. The extra I ate the extra I craved.) two. Don't totally deny your self of a favourite, now not-so-well-for-you meals, you are going to best desire it extra. three. Limit meal quantities. Eat a few small foods an afternoon verses three huge foods, with small snacks in among. Giving your belly anything each two-three hours will expand your metabolism (fats-burner, converts meals into vigour). four. Slow down while you consume. Most individuals consume so rapid that they don't deliver the meals a danger to arrive the belly to ship signs to the mind that you're complete. five. Increase your everyday endeavor, if even the slightest. Throw in a stroll down the block and again, or a stroll round your condominium or workplace constructing. Make it sensible, after which regularly expand endeavor time. 6. Don't have unrealistic expectancies. Slow and regular weight reduction is less complicated to hold than speedy weight loss. 7. Don't get locked on a quantity on your superb weight. The means your garments are compatible and the way you notice your self within the reflect is a higher reality teller than any scale. If you do over indulge (type of rough to not with the vacations bobbing up), decrease slightly for an afternoon or 2. eight. Don't ever put out of your mind, You Are Beautiful. ?

That would be unhealthy for you. You are the right size now and maybe a little underweight. i suggest that you just eat healthy foods and exercise at least 3 times a week for 30 mins. That way you can still work out and eat healthy but not the unhealthy way your trying to do it.

As a Nutrition and Dietetics major, I think that this plan sounds great! Diet and exercise are the best ways to lose weight and get in shape. Some tips I have are to: 1. When dieting, make sure you use moderation. Don't cut yourself off from desserts, just eat them in small amounts. 2. With exercise, try increasing how many miles you walk and jog each week or two. This way, you'll condition your body for better endurance. 3. Try a free workout plan such as the one at Self.com. They will help teach you what foods are more health beneficial and show you new workouts for beginners each week. 1-2 pounds a week sounds great, no more than that, though. Otherwise, it will become a crash diet which could potentially be hurtful to your body. Don't be discouraged if you gain a little weight a first, it may be from muscle gain, since muscle weighs much more than fat. Good luck!
