I have a photo shoot in February for bathing suits and lingerie if I can loose a couple pounds. It's not that I'm overweight, I just have a little pooch around the middle. I used to be very athletic and just stopped playing sports almost overnight and have not vigorously worked out in about 6 months. What is the best way to not exactly lose weight but just.. trim the fat around my stomach and inner thighs? What kind of diet pills work or diet plans? And what are the best kind of excercises for toning arms, butt, abs, and thighs.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Be careful with diet pills--I've had some bad experiences trying some of them. What I did find to work really well though was a natural supplement of Acai berry which I actually saw on Oprah and Rachel Ray. It was a while ago, but I ordered a free sample from http://ultraacaiberry.com/y/ and it's been great for helping increase my energy, metabolism, and keeping my body healthy! I've lost weight and I feel much, much better than I did when I was on the pills.

First if you already haven't, switch to diet soda. That made me lose at least 10 pounds in the first month because i drank so many! Diet Dr. Pepper is my favorite, that's the only one i found that doesn't taste diety. But water would be a better choose. Then i eat lean cuisine meals. Around 3 a day and i give myself set times to eat. Just because i found that i eat out of boredom, not hunger. So you don't really have to that. They aren't that expensive, at my walmart they are 2 for 4$. For snacks i eat those 100 calorie packs, pickles, almonds, dried fruit, cereal bars...i mean the list goes on. There is tons of food/snack food that are low fat/calories you just have to look a little bit harder. Ive just now started walking on the treadmill too, usually about 1 or 2 miles a day. That's all for work outs, haha. I limit myself to 1000 calories a day. So far i tend to lose round 5 LBs a week.
I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Losing weight is simple. All it takes is a negative calorie balance and your body uses fat to make up the difference. All that means is, consume less calories than you burn and you use calories from fat and you lose weight. Why do people make this seem so HARD to understand? There is no magic involved, simple metabolism of the body and common sense is all it takes. That, and self-discipline to skip 2nd helpings and add a bit of exercise. As for shaping the body, look into a personal trainer, who can tailor the exercise you do to target specific muscle groups to either enhance or reduce the effect on appearance. Consult a nutritionist to get advice on what it takes to have a balanced diet and then balance what you consume with what you burn so you maintain a negative balance and you will lose weight in a healthy manner.

Forget the diet pills. Eat lots of healthy veggies, whole grains, lean meats. Cut out the sugar and back on salt. Drink lots of water. Get plenty of sleep. With moderate exercise. I dropped over 50lbs doing it that way. ;)
And I've managed to keep it off, even after 4 years.

trimming the fat from your tummy is losing weight lol.
my suggestions: jog for a half hour every day (or some form of cardio, tae bo kickboxing swimming elliptical stationary bike, take your pick), take a vitamin, drink loads of water and crystal lite (NEVER DRINK YOUR CALORIES FOOOOO), and eat a ton of veggies. if you want to look tone too you should do things like pushups, various kinds of crunches (regular, bicycle crunches, etc), dips, the plank, leg lifts. sparkpeople.com has a TON of exercise ideas. they even make it idiot proof by showing you how to do it. oh, and a fitness ball is a godsend. there's a million ways to use one to work the flab off.
do all that and you'll be hawt by feb.
