Question: ok i'm 15 years old and there is a beauty pageant i entered 6 months ago, it was $1000 to enter and i can't get my money back. since then i gained like 12 pounds and need to loose it because i had a dress custom made 6 months ago and now i don't fit into it. the dress was over $3000 n i had to work for six months to pay for it so now i need help loosing a little of my stomach and thighs and help? Anything but sit ups and crunches please and i only have a treadmill and can't go to a local gym bcuz you have to be 18 to go to the ones around

i am about the same i dont like to excersice much. but heres what i do and i stay fit, - i dont drink soda (only water, and certain juices) - I run/walk around my neighborhood whenever i have nothing to instead of seating and watching tv. i listen to my ipod or talk on the phone( sometimes i walk with a friend) it just helps me be distracted and dont even realize that im working out. - i do 10 situps before i go to sleep and sometimes when i wake up. - i watch what i eat if it looks greasy and its pretty obvious that im going to gain weight with it i dont eat it. - i carry a water bottle in my purse. and i dont starve myself i eat healthy food likei really really dont like vegetables, so instead i have a nice string breakfast in the morning ( a glass of milk, toast, or cereal) that way im not hungru thought the day every 5 mins. i have lunch around 3 and it can be a nice boilied chicken or rice, nothing fried. just dont think about it too much but just remeber to eat healthy and i think ull b fine it works for me. hope i helped good luck=)

Those legs look like bones and skin. It's not sexy at all! But if you mean you want some toned up legs work the entire area of the thigh when working out. Work the inner, side, front, back and buttocks. Exercises such as the bicycle, leg lifts, leg slides, squeezing a stability ball and leg raises help slim the thighs. Reduce the amounts of carbohydrates and fats in your diet. If you notice that your thighs store fat, then any excess fat from food and drink will go straight to your thighs. Drink more water, eat more fruits and vegetables, drink skim milk, low fat dressings and fat free cream cheese and other cream based products. Begin a walking routine. Walking helps slim down the body overall and won't bulk up your leg muscles like jogging will.

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together. It's not necessarily to become a bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

Weight is a funny thing. You go out and get it and put it on, but are then too lazy to take it back off. Tell you what...here's incentive for losing the weight: if you don't, you lose $1000 entry fee, you lose a $3000 dress, you lose six months of work that you did for nothing, and you lose the chance to compete in the beauty pageant. And, it's pretty easy to lose the weight. Walk around the block. Do it twice. Do it five times. Do it five times twice a day. Stop drinking soda. Drink water. Stop eating Little Debbie stuff. Eat carrots and celery. Stand up straight and smile. You can do this. Good luck! - Stuart

Instead of 2-3 meals a day, plan out and eat 6 nice snacks a day that are 200 calories each. That way you don't get real hungry even though you're at 1200 calories a day, which is the lowest you should do. Good planning, know your calories, and it's not to hard. 2 slices of low cal bread and a fried egg (no cal spray) make a good sandwich. You can about every 2 1/2 hours. Plan ahead and it will be effective--Good Luck :)

Do something outside that you love, but that also includes physical activity. Lets say if you like basketball, go out and play. You will lose the thought of exercising, and just have fun. Try anything that you enjoy doing outside and try to have fun, the weight will come off, I promise. Good luck, hope this helps.

I lost 30 pounds in one month. Running is the best exercise to burn calories by far. You don't have to run fast--slow, long running helps your body get used to burning fat. Run 45 minutes a day. Cut out any drinks that contain calories but skim milk. Think about how many calories you drink. If you drink 7 sodas or starbucks a week--that is a half of a pound--you'll lose at least 4-5 pounds by you're wedding just by cutting out drinks or more. I ran everyday for 45 minutes, power walkedd for 45 minutes and lifted weights for 2 hours a week and put down the cookies and sodas. If you consume 500 lesscaloriess a day, you'll lose one extra pound a week--in two months--that's at least one size. Make a pan and stick with it. Most people make a plan and do it for a few weeks and then take some pills that don't really work in the long-run. If pills really worked like the bottle says, you wouldn't see so many people jogging or working out in other ways--let's be real about this. You have to put the time inever dayy, with no excuses. You won't gain muscle by running, and if you do, it will only be toning and that will help you burn more weight. Each pound of muscle will help you burn 50 morecaloriess a day. Most of the ladies you see jogging are not buff at all. Most are really slim. If you put the effort in, you'll get the results.
