Don't mind the spam, I report between 2 and 4 of them before answering every question on this forum.
The most effective is any. A cardio workout will cause you to burn calories during the exercise and to a lesser extent after the workout. Body building will burn little during the workout and a lot after the workout. They are about equal, except bodybuilding takes a little less time and hurts a lot more. Unless of course you are like me and have a heart condition, then all exercise hurts.

You need to pick a method you can live with and stick with it. Yoga is great, all of the benefits of bodybuilding, stretching, and toning in every pose and routine. Weight lifting is ok, great for muscle shaping. Treadmills are fair, if you are willing to do prepared trainer workouts, not very good otherwise. Freestyle exercises are very good, and very inexpensive. And you have dozens of other choices.
Running, biking, swimming, etc. are good exercising for trimming off the fat. You should run at a pretty fast pace for like an hour. Try to not take breaks at all. Work out at least 4 days a week, and try to aim for five.
Remember that what you eat is more important in the weight loss process. You can work out five days a week, but if you don't eat right then you won't drop a pound.

there is this really amazing website that i am using that is almost like a Facebook but for people who want to loose weight. its free to sign up and it has EVERYTHING on it. You enter in your goal weight and how much you want to loose a week and then it creates a diet plan for you as well as an exercising plan. It also has a bunch of blogs and forums where you can type in what your feeling so that people can help you out, give you advice or just say hi. There is also an online tracker they give you where your progress is shown, the more you loose the more your online tracker moves to your goal.

Not good to be on low fat. Why would you avoid fats? - you will need them for energy once your body is in ketosis. Eating fat has nearly 0 affect on insulin which leads to fat storage.
The skim milk you drink = lactose = sugar = carbs.
The bread = wheat = higher GI affect on glucose levels than ingesting sugar = carbs.
And rice and pasta?
I think you're asking all the wrong questions. Exercising is NOT good for weight loss. It doesn't work. You train your body to store fat more efficiently for future workouts. You may think you're doing your body a favor, but as soon as you stop your routine, your LPL enzymes on your fat cells begin to rush fatty acids into your fat cells for storage. Not good. This is why many marathon runners will actually gain weight during training.
I advise you to :
2)Cut out the wheat products (cereal, bread, pasta) and rice.
3)Start eating fat!
4)Read the attached sourced book.
Focus on your diet and everything will fall into place.
