Question: okay so im 13 and weight around 300 pounds {NOT LYING}. i made a mini goal for my self. i want to lose 10 pounds by January 10th. can anyone help me do that? can you make me a step by step plan/guide/diet that i can start tomorrow that is guaranteed to work. and that i will lose 10 pounds in 10 days?????? please! i NEED HELP! like make out a plan that tells me when to exercise. what exersices to do each day {only equitment i have is a treadmill} what to eat each day exc........ PLEASE HELP ME!

10 lbs in 10 days is unlikely, and not very practical. However I do have some suggestions to help you lose weight in a healthy way. I lost 110 so I have some experience with this. It's great that you have a treadmill. It's my favorite piece of equipment and I use one every day. First thing's first. Start walking! Walk for an hour a day, 5 or 6 days a week. It doesn't matter what time of day you walk really, but I prefer first thing in the morning. You want to go fast enough that your breathing gets a bit hard, but you can still talk. If you can sing, you're not going fast enough. Once you get comfortable walking, try jogging for 30 seconds, a minute, 2 minutes... as much as you can handle. Then continue walking. Set mini goals for yourself how often you can jog and for how long. That's what I did. Food is easy. Cut out sugar! No sweets, syrup, jelly, jam, honey, nothing sweet. For breakfast have eggs. Make a veggie omelet. Actually my favorite breakfast is my post-workout protein shake (chocolate whey protein, 1 cup skim milk and one raw egg). Sometimes I put mixed berries in it or a banana. Breakfast should be about 300 calories. After that, you should be eating something every 2 or 3 hours. No crackers, pretzels, rice cakes or anything like that. Pair a fruit/veggie with a lean protein. For example, 10 baby carrots and a string cheese (and maybe a can of tomato juice), or an apple and 10 almonds, or a low-fat PLAIN yogurt. No added sugars remember. Or have a V8 and a protein. Snacks should be between 100 and 200 calories. Lunch and dinner should be the same- fruits, veggies, lean protein and low-fat dairy. Grains should be kept to a minimum. They are digested just like sugar. I allow myself one grain treat a week. Rice, pasta, bread, potatoes should all be whole grains when you treat yourself. Brown rice or 100% whole wheat pasta or bread. If it says "enriched" in the ingredients, it's not whole wheat. Potatoes are not to be fried. No fries, hash browns, tater tots or fried potatoes. Baked and boiled is ok. Actually I love mashed potatoes with ketchup as a grain treat. Don't let your calorie intake go too low. Your calorie surplus (calories you eat minus calories you burn off during exercise) should not go below 1200 or you will start losing muscle mass. And one last thing... while walking on the treadmill will help you burn fat, you need to keep your muscles toned, so do some strength training too. Crunches, lift some weights, anything you can do to work your muscles. This should be done every other day. If you have any more questions feel free to ask me.

The protein is the only group of foods low in calories, which gives a feeling of fullness to the body without tiring. When the human body has to extract calories from protein, it has to make a considerable effort, it means that the simple act of digesting causes the body to burn calories. First i must say loosing 10 lbs in 10 days is not healthy. If you do crash diets like that you will loose the weight but once you stop you will gain it all back and with more weight too and just end up heavier. I am too trying to loose weight right now i have about 30 lbs to loose and my goal is to loose it all by june. That gives me 6 months so i am aiming for 1 to 3 lbs a week and thats a healthy way. I know trust me. I hate my body and wish i could just lose it all right now but it is better and more long term and healthy to diet properly. 1) Drink lots of water and no pop or juice (Pops and juices are just an empty waste of calories) 2) Try to get in at least 30mins of exercise per day (Your treadmill would be great for this) or Find some workout DVDs you can do at home (I am using Turbo Jam and have lost 7lbs so far) 3) Eat balanced meals and cut down on carbs (breads and crackers) Try to fill up your plate with veggies. They have few calories and fill you up 4) Stay motivated. Think about what you want more....For example, a peice of cake (yum) or a great body you love? This will help you to realize whats better 5) Take a before picture and then another at the end of every month of your diet. This will motivate you by showing your progress over time. 6) Tell your parents or gardiens or who you live with that you are dieting and tell them not to give you things you shouldn't eat. 7) When you have a really strong craving try to distract yourself. They will go away or drink some water. It may fill you up. 8) Keep track of your weight and measurments so you can see how your doing. 9) Remeber its all about burning more calories than you intake so count the calories and this will help you know how much to exercise. If you try all these you will lose the weight but you have to realize there is no quick fix you need to take it a bit at a time and you WILL get results. Be strong and you can do it. I am dieting too and i know its hard. I do trust me but i will do it cause i want an great body i love and you can get that too.! All you need right now is a treadmill so you are doing good already to start. Walk 30 minutes a day if not more if you can. Drink lots of water, a minum of 64oz a maximum of 150oz (50%) of your body weight. Eat 5-6 small meals a day, lean meats like chicken, turkey or fish, knock out all of your sugar, try using splenda if you need sugar. No sodas or caffein of an kind. Stick to water and decaf tea or coffee, fat free milk and reduced fat cheeses. Lots of veggies and limit your fruit to one per day. No processed foods and no white colored carbs, try the whole wheat breads and pastas and limit these to one serving per day if you must have. Snack on almonds or sugar free jello.

Well at the weight you are losing 10 pounds on January 10 is possible.. But you MUST know that weight loss is a long process.. Make sure you stick to the small diet... cause you will gain it back.. First Do not go crazy and start eating only 500 calories and exercising 10 hours a day.. it is not healthy and in the long run will not help.. Start by cutting your calories you consume by 100 to 500 a day.. So if you eat 2500 to 3500 calories a day, try eating less.. Also do physical activity.. things you like to do or fun to do.. walk, run, sports, clean your room.. do about 10 hours a week... Mostly thats all you have to do.. i think doing that you probably will lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks simple.. Good luck

Totally cut out carbs (chips, bread, noodles, snacks) and jump up on eating more meat (fish, chicken, cows) and veggies (not carrots). I started this 4 days ago and already lost 5 pounds. It's good for up to 2 weeks, then you start introducing good carbs back. It's Atkin's Diet in case you wanted to know which isn't good for long term anyway. Also, If you crave sugar. Get sugar free jello with no carbs or sugar. It's perfect for shooing those cravings!
