October 15, 2019 / By Frannie Question:
I am late on my period by more than a week. Last period I was late 2 weeks. I have taken test online that say if I had conceived during the time I had sex then I should be going on 6 wks. I have no signs of being pregnant, though. No sore/tender breasts. No vomiting. No constipation. No fatigue. No smell thing. I have not taken a pregnancy test because I am hoenstly to scared and worried to. What can be wrong?
I am honestly really worried. Been with my bf for a lil more than a year. I do have an irregular menstrual cycle. I was 2 weeks late last month. A couple of days the month before. Its common to be late. I am allergic to a chemical in the birth control pills so I can't take them to even out my cycle.

headaches could be a start. My friend had that but you have to have discharge. When you go to the bathroom, it might be on your underwear, and its either kind of brownish or white.
Breast engorgement and tenderness
Constipation or diarrhea
Headache and migraine (migraine may increase severity of PMS symptoms)
Nausea and vomiting
Heart palpitations (rapid heartbeats).
You will probably feel some moderate symptoms when you first get your period. You may notice that you feel bloated or uncomfortable – this is caused by water that your body retains during menstruation. Other signs of menarche include a slight headache, leg ache or backache for a few hours. The most common symptom of menarche, is cramping. You may feel abdominal cramping, similar to a stomachache for the first few days of your period. Try taking an over-the-counter pain medication, such as Advil or Tylenol, for the pain.
You may notice some emotional changes too before your period. You may feel tense, angry, or sad because of the hormones your body is releasing. Don’t get too discouraged. These symptoms won’t last long.
Hormonal imbalance can make your preriods irregular, ascan a number of factors.
Taking a pregnancy test when dreading the answer IS scary, but you need to know. NOT knowing hurts more, trust me on this. If you are not pregnant, then the worry ends.
If you are, then you know at least and can take the next steps.
