Topic: Ways to lose weight fast?
January 22, 2020 / By Annita Question:
Not exactly thrilled with my body.
Going on a huge shopping trip in about 2.5 weeks. And I really want to be able to maybe get some clothes I like and be a little slimmer in the thighs and stomach area.
I've been kinda watching what I'm eating and going on small walks and such.
But I want to shed some weight.
What are some really good, easy things that I can have fun doing that work well for losing weight!?
We recently just got our Bowflex set up because our house is getting re done and all that.
But we have the one that's a tredmill but it can go up and down and be inclined as well..
So it's like a tredmill with the standing bike type thing in it.
Should I run on that? Or walk on it?
Or alternate between running and walking?

What im about to tell you is my "secrets". I say its secret because its the "healthy way" to lose weight, which people go for more fad diets when this actually works when you stick to it. I lost 30 pounds last summer with these things I did.
What you might not understand is that ANY other way will NOT work and you will gain it all back in no time. If you want to lose the weight and keep it off, this advice is for you!
-Exercises to do throughout the day-
Pump up the music and dance!! (I do this, gosh it burns calories)
-squats ALL these exercises done together in a routine will give you results
-Drink a lot of water consistently throughout the day.
-excercise in the morning, as this will help boost your metabolism.
-exercise at least 30-45 mins 3-5 times a week :)
-eat balanced meals, LOTS of fruits and veggies, lean protein.
-stop going out to eat if you already do. It's nothing but junk. Home made meals are best and then for sure you know exactly what your eating!
-switch from white bread to whole wheat bread. Makes a big difference in your nutrition and health :)
-When your craving a certain "junk" food like chips or ice cream, put a little bit in a bowl and have some. If you don't you will be craving it so bad you will binge on anything you can get your hands on.
- like above ^ just put anything you eat into a small bowl/plate. It helps portion!
- Be motivated. Put a picture or clothing piece that motivates you on your fridge, door, or anywhere you'll see it. You can do it!!
-only weigh yourself once a week the same day, everyday will get you too frustrated with not dramatic results.
-measure your body with a measuring tape and record it to keep track. It's easier to check your inches lost!
-eat around 1,200 - 1,500 calories a day. Burn off extra 300-500 calories, and you could lose 1-2 pounds a week!
-Buy green tea or green tea tablets, as this SLIGHTLY helps boost your metabolism.
-get the app MyFitnessPal. It's awesome TRUST ME!! If you can't, just use an online. Calorie counter.
-don't listen to what anyone says if they bring you down. Your beautiful and will lose weight and prove it to anybody, but most importantly yourself!
lift and lower a soy sauce bottle 170 times with your right hand and a wok 170 times with your left
identify the emotional triggers that lead you to seek unhealthy comfort food picture your goal weight the next time a trigger strikes to help you resist temptation
Consume honey before bed because consumption of honey may help to burn more fat during those early hours of sleep
take a 30 second break in the middle of your meal evaluate just how hungry you still are before getting back to your food

Don't get on the diet rollercoaster. Think of fitness and weight as a lifestyle choice. Any weight that is lost through "fast track" dieting is almost always gained back (plus some). Commit to a healthy diet, low in sugar, high in natural whole foods and plenty of water. Exercise at least 3-4 times per week, and do it for the joy of movement, not for the "I have to get to such-and-such weight". Mental and emotional balance about weight is important. If you are in a state of resistance, struggling to lose weight, trying to avoid eating this and that, fighting the pounds, that mindset in and of itself will create a battle you can't win. A flat stomach comes from several factors - one that many people don't talk about is posture. Holding it in and up as you sit and stand will train it into a flatter position. Never hunch or slouch forward. If you are watching TV, get an exercise ball and sit on that, rolling yourself backward several times to work your abs. In bed, laying flat on your back, place your hands on your lower belly, then left your head gently and lift one leg at a time, focusing on flattening your belly and feeling the muscles in your abdomen. Best of luck to you!
