Question: o.k heres the deal i am 17 yrs old and 5 foot 4 and i am 260 pounds. i want to lose weight fast! i started drinking a whole lot of water and i go walking lots. i dont stay motivated to doing sit ups and stuff like that. i exercise my arms useing dumb bells while watching t.v. and i cant be belinic cuz i dont throw up easy. and i love food to much to stop eating. i dont have any money to spend so i cant buy pills or machines. and my foster mom cooks all my meals for me i dont have a say on wat she cooks for me. plz i really want to lose weight. i am tired of being single. but going to a small school doesint help either. i want to lose weight fast and gain muscles. HELP ME!!!

You are starting off on a good foot by drinking lots of water and walking. Make walking goals for yourself, either time them or go a little further each week. If you can, you can try and eat 4-5 times a day as oppose to 2-3 times. Spacing out your eating evens out your metabolism so you would start out with a decent breakfast (no skipping!), a snack like a fruit or a yogurt, lunch, snack again then dinner. You want to avoid the obvious like fast foods, fried foods, cakes, candies, potatoes, white rice and white bread (get 100%whole grain if you can). I know you want to lose it all quickly but you still want to be healthy and safe while doing it, and you want to be able to keep it off once its gone, right? Too many of those quick fixes are temporary fixes. Once you go back to eating regularly, you end up gaining it all back. The goal is to change the way you are eating...not just go on a diet. I even hate the word "diet'. It sounds like something you are just doing 'for now'. I understand about not wanting to exercise since thats not really my thing either but I am walking and doing little things while I watch TV (any movement is better than just sitting there). My goal is that when I get to a more comfortable weight then my body will be more willing (and able, since I am 42 yrs old) to do more exercising. Push yourself too far too fast, and you will lose any motivation you have. The key is to start small, like the walking. Eventually, you will get to a faster pace and then jogging! At this point, you have your age on your side since your metabolism is still there. Use it now because the older you get, the harder it is to lose weight. Good luck to you.

Hi Arman. Sometimes you do not REALLY need to do extra stuff, but just do things differently. Any physical exercise would help burn off the weight, so instead of standing still for two minutes waiting for the elevator try going up the stairs! Obviously there would be the food thing - how much do you eat at each meal? Could you maybe eat just three quarters the amount of carbohydrate? If you have a fried meal then could it be cooked some other way, or even better could you avoid that type of food? Drink - well beer etc adds weight on faster that you think, so again missing it out might help you loose weight. Also if you add sugar to your coffee then could you use a sweetener instead? Do you have a dog? If so then how much exercise do you give to them? Could you not maybe add an extra ten minutes on to each walk? Or maybe even better take them for a run spending the same time as you currently are. That way your body would need more energy, got from the spare weight, and yet you would spend no extra time. It would also be good for your heart! Somebody has already suggested getting out of your car a bit earlier, but then do you simply use your car too much? Do you have a friend who lives just a mile away, and yet you are always driving there? If so then why not walk, because again there would be addition benefits. Not only would you get the exercise, but also you would be saving money on your car due to less wear and tear! The best one is this though - do you have a partner? How often do you make the bed squeak? Could that not be done twice as often, because not only is it using up the energy, but the human body releases a hormone. I cannot remember its medical name, but I do know it is also not as the "feel good hormone", because it really does pick up the feelings a person has - content and happy. I observed the ebook to be very informative and handy to learn. I've misplaced 17 kilos in 12 days, I'm simply worried that I'm wasting an excessive amount of weight, too speedily. I will admit I have not adopted the consultant precisely. I'm no longer sticking flawlessly to the indexed meals and meal plans (however most often) and doing little or no undertaking, however the weight maintains flying off. It certainly works and if I'd adopted it precisely I consider it could scare the dwelling daylights out of me given that of the quantity that I'd lose. So thank you once more for the expertise.
