Well when you fast your body holds onto fat so it can survive but there are other fast diets. Plus that is really hard. I had a diet plan a while ago and I list 15 pounds. 1. Start of eating on vegetables for a day. 2. Next day you start of taking a glass of water with extra virgin oil (kind of gross but really healthy. Then half an hour later hav some daily detox tea ( chinese herb tea like 10 bucks at the local health store. Then every hour you can eat nuts (brazil or pecans etc) apples or green peppers and every two hours take the tea. You can have a veggie salad fir dinner if you are really hungry. 3. Do the same the next day but no salad. 4. The only thing you can have is juiced veggies or fruit and drink lots of water. Good combos are carrots and apples or green peppers and red beets. Experiment though. Don't have too much fruit. 5. Only water and your juice. 6. Water and juice 7. Start of with of some juice and water and at 12 pm you can eat again but take it slow. Stick to veggies only 8. Can go back to fruit. Only have veggies and fruit, avoid dairy meat grain. Eat meals until you are full not until the plate is empty. 9. Eat like this for around 7 days and then you can repeat and start to increase the juice days. Good luck!

Nope, contrary to popular belief, it does not work in reducing fat effectively, you will mainly lose weight from muscle mass. You will lose fat, but the majority of your weight loss will be from muscle mass. When you consume anywhere below 1,200 calories or a huge deficit under your daily maintenance requirements (or, in terms of your project, simply nothing at all) and eat normally again you will gain the weight back. Your body will be in what is called "starvation mode", meaning, it will slow down your metabolism to preserve fat storages, thinking there is lack of food. This is a technique your body uses to sustain life. Once you go back to eating normally your slowed down metabolism will cause you to gain back weight rapidly. If you didn't switch back there would be major health consequences.

Drinking water could reduce body fat but not sure but Some ways that could help to reduce body fat are: Weight lifting Avoiding bad fats And eat a lot of fruit and veggies

You'll lose weight, but there's no way for us to know how much. Crash diets like this are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. After a few days without food, you WILL pass out. People DIE if they stop consuming food. Surely you know this?!

one time i had tonsilitis where it hurt to eat and i wasnt hungry for a week, this was when i was about 250 pounds roughly, and after the week i weighed myself and i think i was 230 or so

it can be if you used to eat lots of salt and suddenly stopped or cut way back. Also, look to what time of the month it is for you. When I actively diet, the week after my period is super good, I am in the zone, dropping the pounds, etc. The week before is another story, either no weight lost at all or a slight gain :(. Your weight lose will always fluctuate somewhat depending on what you ate, your activity level, etc. I have a friend who actually gained weight the first time she tried dieting but she was working out so strenuously that the muscle she gained canceled out any fat she lost and while she looked slimmer, she weighed more. Freaked her out!
