Question: I want to loose weight before the end of school and thats in three weeks. And I have been trying to loose weight for a while but I haven't been totally committed to it although I really do wan to loose weight. I think the reason for that is that I haven't had a plan or schedule to work by. So is it even possible to loose some weight with the deadline at 3 weeks? I would be very thankful if anybody could suggest some dieting plans or work-outs. (I pretty much mainly want to loose weight on my thighs...) thank you!!!

First off, I feel sorry you still have three weeks of school left, I got out yesterday :P. But im sure you're still on SUmmer break 3 weeks after i go back. Anyways. I dont diet, but i do workout. As far as thighs, you cant lose weight in 1 place. Weight gets off your body from all over, there is no such thing as 'spot reduction. But either jog, run, or jumprope. Jumproping is the most efficient. You can burn up to 1000 calories an hour jumproping. Its great for weight loss and endurance training. All the best of luck. :)

try and eat as many fruits and veggies as possible cut down your portion sizes, but have small regular meals try to stick to 1500 calories a day.. maybe keep a book to write down what you've ate and how many cals are in each bit of food you've had :-) also drink plenty of water, maybe green tea exercise about 3-5 a week, exercise bikes are quite good I think :D treat yourself sometimes, maybe once or twice a week, just so you're not depriving yourself of things and it might stop your cravings hope I helped :') xo

yes okay, to get into shape , speed up your metabolism, rid yourself of excess fat and lose weight ,,,,,do as follows: Stop drinking & smoking (if you do this regularly) eat fruits & vegetables all you can (buy a food/rice steamer to make it easy on you)...(vegetables are not tasty, like junk foods,, but can be as you aquire your taste to them..and are loaded with energy and nutrients)...avoid all junk food, cokes, sweets, etc...and drink water . If you eat meat ,,eat only steamed fish or chicken. also, do an hour of walking each day at least. or some type of excercise. * you should lose about 10 lbs per month

Your weight loss is very critical to your future health, and I'm glad you are considering the lap band surgery. A family friend of ours recently had the lap band put in place, and he has lost a lot of weight with it already! He also exercises daily to help out as well though. My mom had a gastric bypass about 4 years ago. She went from about 280 and she is at a final weight of 125 now, and has maintained her weight loss for nearly 2 years after the surgery. She does have excess skin from not exercising or weight lifting though! I would definitely suggest the lap band surgery to you because my mom had terrible complications with the gastric bypass. Your Medicaid would absolutely cover your cost of a weight loss surgery.
